What if this guy could be a second love interest for Kurt?

I don't really care if it's another love interest or not. Glee has focused too much on the romance anyway and usually is horrible at writing them.
I'm just glad Chris seems to be really excited about a storyline he's getting.

What I can see happening is Blaine coming in and having to struggle somewhat for notice, while Kurt is finally getting the praise and notice that he's always deserved. They're certainly dropping enough anvils with Blaine's awareness that he often just gets things without any challenge. So now he's coming to NYADA and fighting for attention while his fiancé is a reigning star.Bro

Yeah... I know that it's all speculation on my part now but... BRING IT ON!!!!

I've been saying for a while that this would have been a good storyline for Glee. Have someone go to NY, and realize that being the most talented in Lima doesn't mean that you're going to automatically be the best in college or Broadway. Show one of them struggling, having trouble standing out in the crowd.

It would be a huge change for Blaine not to be automatically loved by everyone who hears his sing. Let him realize that he doesn't stand out from the crowd--that he has to work for it, and fight for it. Having Blaine see Kurt succeed when he can't would be a good way to bring some conflict into Klaine. Blaine struggling while watching Kurt get praised and have success would actually probably bring some sympathy to Blaine as a character. How would he handle sitting on a stool watching Kurt instead of it being the other way around?

One thing I will say about Kurt, I don't mind Kurt getting success because they actually show him working for it. They show him practicing his dance moves. Kurt works towards his goals with the band, and makes plans for the band to practice. He encourages and supports his bandmates. Someone once told me that I didn't need luck because I make my own luck happen. And that kind of applies to Kurt. He doesn't need things handed to him because he works to get what he wants.

Changing gears a bit: I had a thought about that interview where Chris said that he wanted a second love interest for Kurt. When you hear Chris say something about Kurt, it seems to be happening lately (like Kurt being in a band, and Kurt being and Starchild being his nemesis). What if Chris said that because he has been told that Kurt will be having a second love interest before the end of the season? Even Darren has mentioned that Kurt and Blaine are going to hit some rough spots. Could they be making these comments to soften the blow for the K(b)lainers? Maybe there is plans to break Klaine up before the end of the season, and introduce a new love interest for Kurt (if so, I hope that the actor playing him stays away from social media, LOL).

I go from excited with the combat training spoiler being about Kurt, then I see these stills of Finn's shirt.

I see this smile and for me is like he's satisfied for what he did, he knows he provoked a riot.

I'm sorry for being the party pooper, but as much as like Chris using his sai skills, part of me doesn't like so much that Kurt is having a scene using the same weapons, as that something that represents Chris. I know Ryan loves to put real stuff from the actors into the characters, but I don't know, I have my doubts about this.

Being more nice, I'm so waiting for defying gravity.

Well, twirling sai swords and combat training are different things. Kurt will probably be using fencing epees or broadswords.
