The tongue piercing won't last long. As soon as Kurt finds out that it interferes with his singing, it'll be gone. Fortunately tongue piercings will heal pretty quickly.

I really liked Kurt's story here. I can understand why he kind of fell into a rut. HIs fiancé is back in Lima and they don't interact much (the idea that they don't sexy Skype is really telling). He's busy with work and school. And unquestionably still grieving over his brother. That's bound to knock anyone into a holding pattern.

Nothing he did worked out the way he expected. The tattoo is silly. The tongue piercing was a lark that won't last long. But Kurt went off his usual beaten path and took some chances. And that's what seizing life is all about - throwing caution to the wind and just doing something because it feels like the right thing to do. And some of those things won't work out as expected. But when life hands you lemons, make a lemoncello martini.

I loved everything Kurt and Rachel tonight. Kurt trying to talk with the tongue piercing was hysterical, and I even teared up a bit when Rachel revealed her Finn tattoo.

You know, I shouldn't care for what other people say. But some are already saying how Chris was willing to being shirtless in a stupid plot like the tattoo one. Personally I think is up to him what he does, and I think it was in context.
