@Kim, if you're referring he also could be an inspiration for those people who want to lose weight and keep healthy, he's. And I read on tumblr, that maybe he preferred to not being shirtless before, because he didn't feel sure of his body as he's now.


And before I forget it, though I drooled over Chris body when he took off that robe. Somehow I found the following scene sexier, like more sensual, I don't know if the way he stripped down his shirt or the look he had. I simply loved it

that's why i never enjoyed hard core porn. they leave nothing to the imagination. i found them to be extremely boring and unsatisfying. there's nothing artistic. just animalistic.

sometimes the sexist thing about a person is the way he/she gives that seductive look. sometimes it's a smirk. sometimes it's a hair toss... when the look is seductive, you can play out chapter 2 and beyond in your own head.

and this leads me to think of the fact that most people are not happy w/ movie adaptation of books after they have already read the book. as we are reading the lines in a storybook, we are actively playing a version of the movie in our own heads. we "see" our characters, "hear" their voices, and visualized all the events as they unfold. we as readers all have our own version of the movie and despite the fact that most of us are not film makers and know nothing about movie adaptation, we all think our version of the "head movie" is the best, because that's how we interpret the book. so when the movie finally comes out, we will bitch and whine about how the movie failed our expectations and that and characters aren't what we imagined them to be. or the film maker took too much liberties w/ interpretation and the resulting work is no longer faithful to the book (or rather, OUR own head version of the movie). you see, our imagination can be very powerful, and yet it's also extremely deceptive.   it makes you think that the half dressed man/woman can be more sexier than a fully naked one. whenever our imagination is involved, reality no longer matters.

sorry about being OT, but talking about movie adaptations, i remember Marie was blowing steam over the first installment of The Hobbit when it came out a year ago, because it's no longer a children's story, and it relied on special effects on things we can't realistic portray otherwise (such as dragon and epic battle scenes w/ non-human creatures or architecture that we can never be able to build). well, i have never read the book (ok i only read the first 20 pages or so and hated it), thus i really really enjoy the movie. i do not have any pre-formed bias against the movie. my imagination was left untouched. as a result I watched the movie (including blu ray version) more than 10 times. i watched all the extra materials including the film makers' comments on why they had to make certain changes/decisions. i have huge respect to the film maker and the whole cast and screw. next month when the second installment comes out i will likely watch it multiple times again. peter jackson is definitely going to get my money - a lot of it.  

i am still pissed that chris didn't get to play an elf in the Hobbit. now there will likely never be another Tolkien movie made w/in my lifetime.

@Kim, I like this discussion of books adapted into movies, because all what you said is true. When you read, as you go through the pages, in your head you're making up the storyline, and as so is why is hard for readers, specially hardcore fans, to accept the perspective of the director/screenwriter. Personally, I'm still disappointed that some characters and scenes were left out from HP movies, but then I say to myself they simply tried to put the most relevant things, because is impossible to adapt 500 pages into a film.

As regards The Hobbit, as I haven't read the book, for me it was everything new and unexpected. So probably that why I enjoyed it so much, probably if I would have read the book, I would haven seen myself wondering why the pick that scene instead of the other one, what have they done with my favorite character, and so on.

BTW, how did we go from Chris's being sexy to books adapted into movies?

Agree 100%. I prefer some strategicly placed clothing over full frontal. I thought that Kurt taking off the robe and/or revealing his shoulder was way more sexier/teasing than him walking around shirtless.

For — My god, how many seasons of those show have we lived through? Five? Five?! — five seasons now, every dude on Glee has been whipping of his shirt at the slightest provocation, but not Kurt Hummel. No, his pecs are wrapped up even tighter than Dylan O’Brien‘s on Teen Wolf (which are wrapped up even tighter than rolls of quarters in Scrooge McDuck’s vault). But not this week. No, siree. Kurt takes off his shirt about ten different times. The first time is to get his tattoo. He means for it to say “It Gets Better,” but those two shots of fruity liquor caused him to ask for “It’s Get Better.” He is horrified, mainly because: “What if I run into Dan Savage in the steam room at the gym? I mean, I’ll be humiliated!” Chris Colfer is so hilarious in this scene. His face.

There’s no real momentum to this storyline, no three-act drama or emotional character arcs, but I’d rather watch a hundred hours of Kurt and Rachel just learning about life in New York City than literally any more seconds of Will Schuester’s asinine blergfests in Lima, Ohio. You’ve broken me, Glee. Excuse me while I go flip over some xylophones.

Despite Unique’s standout story, the grasp of Ohio continues to wear thin. There’s no real anticipation of what’s to come at McKinley, but how Rachel will do with Funny Girl or how Kurt will parlay this newfound rebellion into his budding NYC career. It’s good that next week Sam and Blaine get themselves over to New York for a bit. The sooner this never ending school year ends, the better for Glee.

Yeah, I wasn't active yesterday  

But really, I am dreading for any mediocre actor to join NYC and RIB just expecting the audience will love them because they are in NYC now. I really believe they think NYC is popular for the location and not the actors.

Nonetheless, the Newbies cannot carry their own SL. I can actually see them wanting to keep Sam and Blaine, by enrolling them in Lima College. The next episode will tell a lot. In case Sam decides he isn't made for NYC (he is most certainly not a model, no matter how hard RIB try to tell us this stupid plot!), it could be some foreshadoing. I don't believe they will "break up" Blam. But we have to wait and see. I am just grasping straws.

Having read those reviews, I'm glad we're not the only we have realized how they need to get rid off of MK immediately. Seriously, why are they keeping MK? Have been they reading only those reviews from people who blindly love MK plot?
