Kurt looking out the window. Gotta love him Smile

Sam I Am.

I love Kurt being interested in Sam. The look of desire. Maybe even a little naughty thought here and there.

Looking at Kurt talking to Sam at the locker, it's really amazing to see how much Chris has grown up in two years. His face has changed so much. He's gotten a nice strong jaw line. I love Kurt's enthusiasm here.

The scene that lead to us having to endure Brittania. I wish that they had paired someone else up with Santana if they were going to have a lesbian couple on the show. I still don't buy the two most promiscuous girls at that school turning into lesbians.

Though Chris and Cory were great in this scene, once again, they screwed Finn over. They have to make Finn homophobic even though he says he isn't. They have always loved making Finn say one thing, and then do the opposite on this show. Also, did Finn ever really say no to Kurt. The closest is when he made the comment about already having a date for prom, but he pretty much just ignored Kurt's crush on him. I think this is one of my least favorite Kurt outfits. I hate that hat thing he is wearing.

"Don't Go Breaking My Heart" is one of my favorite Finchel duets. It's just a fun song.

I just don't buy Rachel's emotions in the speaking part of this scene. Rachel would never willingly throw a competition, even if she believes that she will ultimately gain from it. Rachel is too full of herself to do stuff.

Tike and Bartie stuff. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Finn's sweater in the scene where him and Sam are talking in the locker room isn't Finn's style.

I like the way Sam handled the conversation with Finn. I liked that he blew off Finn's homophobic remarks and wanted to keep his word to Kurt.

I love how Kurt is taking care of Burt here. It really is amazing to see how natural and real the Kurt/Burt relationship is. Chris and Mike are so great together. I love when Kurt puts his head on Burt's shoulder at the end.

The Mercedes/Santana duet is a fun performance. Probably one of the the better performances from each of them on the show. There is a lot of energy in the performance, both vocally and physically. Their voices are quite different, but they do mesh well.

I wonder why they had the Kurt/Sam conversation in the shower in the locker room. If Finn and Burt are telling him that he should be careful about how he interacts with Sam, is talking to Sam when he's naked in the shower the best place to have that conversation. Is that Kurt saying, "Screw them"? Or is that the writers saying, "See, Kurt is a creepy predetory gay?" Or am I just reading too much into it.

I love when Kurt says he is going to perform a duet with the most talented member of the Glee club, and Rachel has that smug look on her face because she just knows it's her.

Le Jazz Hot is one of my favorite Kurt performances to watch. Chris just killed the performance. He was sexy and sultry. He moved so well. No one in this cast can sell a performance like Chris Colfer--not Lea, not Matt, not anyone. Every Kurt solo is memorable because Chris kills it every time.

Chord and Dianna do have good chemistry. I can understand why they changed thier mind about making Sam Kurt's love interest after seeing the chemistry between Dianna and Chord (though in retrospect, I wish that Sam was Kurt's love interest because maybe Kurt wouldn't have been shipped off to another school, and maybe the show wouldn't have gone downhill).

The Tike duet is fun to watch. No, it's not a great song, and no it's not a great vocal performance, but it was entertaining.

Sam should really hate Finn after the lecture about trying to kiss Finn. He should be telling Finn to butt out of his life.

"Lucky" is one of my favoritt Jason Mraz songs, and I think Chord and Dianna did a nice job on it. I love what Dianna was doing with her voice in the beginning. That being said, they shouldn't have won the competition Wink It should have been Kurt.

I think Kurt's expression right after Quinn and Sam win is one of the best expressions Kurt has done on the show, and going into the conversation with Rachel. You can see Kurt's depression and loneliness in his expression and body language.

Please not another pregnancy. haha. That's a terrible thing to say. hehe. I love you, Kurt.

I like Rachel's talk to Kurt here, though. I like to see her supporting him here. She doesn't see him as competition. She sees him as a person here.

I'm glad that they changed Sam's hair when Chord came back. Chord is very handsome, but that hair is not attractive at all.

Now for the best duet of the episode. Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again. My favorite Hummelberry duet. It's just so beautiful. It makes me smile every time I hear it. They are just singing their hearts out. There should be a Hummelberry duet in every episode.

I wish Chris had never revealed the mystery of what was out that window, because it was fun imagining what Kurt saw.

Kurt was so up front with his interest, and so up front with his discussion about dyed hair. He did acknowledge that to win you needed to pair with him or Rachel.

Breadsticks must have really amazing breadsticks to have everyone so excited.

I wish they didn't have Santana trying to do street talk, wantz to get my mack on. Please. You are the daughter of a doctor, and have a mother that gives you whatever you want (we find out in later episodes). The Lima Heights adjacent is probably about 10 miles from the real Lima Heights.

Then the line, the line that pisses me off more than any other line. "that you don't understand the fact that no means no." Ummm, Finn darling, you never once said no to Kurt, you didn't want to push away the guy who listened to you and was honest with you, and you took the easy way out. God!!! Still makes me angry. This is when fan pandering was at it's height, people wanting Kurt to "pay" for having the audacity of crushing on a straight boy. As if little Kurt could have done anything to the much bigger Finn even if he was inclined to behave in such a manner.

Then the one time Finchel was really amusing. Them being a team in trying to lose, and being so amazed on how good they are, that it doesn't even occur to them that they can lose. Finn actually remembers Rachel is Vegan in this episode. They were actually cute, and working together. Too bad the writers only know how to write people being bad.

This was one of Tina's few episodes where she got to show what she felt. Sounds like protective Mike-Mom escorted him on his dates, and they always ate traditionally.

Poor Artie, she is so bemused by the fact that a popular girl wanted to sing with him, he didn't see what is coming.

Funny how Sam says that "the kid is good," like he is older than Kurt. This was probably when they thought he could still work with Kurt. Sam is looking to fit in.

Finn, not being a good brother to be. I liked when Finn is trying to talk Sam out of singing with Kurt, Sam is putting a shirt that literally has a target on it. Then the thing with Quinn. I never saw anything between the two of them. There is something about Quinn that screams Daddy issues, even then. I see her with people who are older than her, not this guy who turned out to be at least two years younger.

Kurt is the best son, cooks for his dad, and fluffs his pillow. I liked Kurt's little eyebrow raise when Burt says "you're my stress test." Burt took things rather well that Kurt was crushing on someone "undetermined" But I was a bit put out that Burt felt that Kurt would "push" someone around because he is interested in them. Kurt doesn't coerce. Then he did have the redeeming line about Kurt being open and brave, but it was one of the few times I felt it wasn't being honest to Burt's character.

Mercedes and Santana did a fantastic job singing River Deep, Mountain High. There was a whole boat load of energy in the room with that song and performance. I'm of two minds who won the competition, this, or the song that came after the competition. Kurt and Rachel's voices blended seemlessly, they didn't need a huge performance or big brass back up to make the song work. A whole different kind of energy, there. They were rich and romantic. I think if they had done that for the competition it would have won, it was just ungarnered talent.

Kurt's shower scene, it was cute and flirty, and I was oh, so hoping that Sam would have been a closeted jock, using Quinn as his beard. Oh well.

That Rachel and Finn thought they still had to work at losing the competition, after RDMH duet, shows how big their egos are, hehe.

Artie probably did enjoy his moment where he could turn Tina down.

Then Kurt's magnificent performance. People who think certain other people are better dancers than Kurt, should rewatch this episode. He had some really nice moves. He also didn't need a bunch of back up singers and huge music, just his lovely voice. Really commanded the stage. Still think it was a cop out for Schue to have the kids to vote who the winner should be. The writers just didn't want to have a winner, and there was no way Sam and Quinn's song would have win over the other songs.

Sing was a lot of fun. Tina danced well with Mike. I like she can do different kinds of dance, something you never saw with Brittany. Brittany just does sexy power dance. I don't think it is because she isn't capable (she had some nice moves in Kurt's number) but the writers have this overwhelming need to have Brittany do dancing in high heels and short skirts. Sometimes it is nice to see different styles.

Rachel and Finn pushing the Sam/Quinn thing. Still felt strange, but I did enjoy the fist bump of Finchel.

The regrettable deflowering scene of Artie. Sad that his first time was just with someone who had no finer emotions for him other than he was one of the football team. She sure is strong.

The crazed Finchel duet, even Kurt was side-eyeing them. Mr. Schue is disappointed in them, because is was Finn and Rachel. Kurt would end up in the principals office. No sour grapes from me.

Poor Kurt, looking sad and oh so young. Quinn and Sam were cute together, but there was no magic in the performance, not a bit. That Santana felt threatened by the performance felt off, because she had Mercedes were amazing.

Kevin has great comedic timing, but angst, not so much. Brittany realizing that in her efforts to punish Santana she hurt someone else.

Then Sam and Quinn winning. Santana going ballistic, Mercedes holding her back. Rachel then notices how Kurt feels.

I think that US History book is the same one Finn found in his locker, and realized he was actually taking the class.

I really hoped with Rachel's line of them winning National's because of Kurt was a premonition of the future. That was before I realized that Glee would never let Kurt take the stage for ND in anything important.
