not impressed w/ the poster, but it has important casts' faces on it. I'd rather the simple drawing in the very begining, assuming it was drawn by chris. it's actually quite intriging. If I didn't know anything about the movie, i would want to find out more about it.

Me too, not only I think it's more interesting look, but Chris looks better here and pictures of Alisson, Dermot or Christina could attract more people.Delight wrote:I kinda like this better:

^ Here, Allison, Dermot or Christina are not that big of a name, so I kind of understand why they would go for the teenage and high school approach.

What's the source of the photo of the middle? I like it Besides I like this one because the big names of Allison, Christina and Dermot have been included, however I'm not sure how known are they abroad.
Emile wrote:The poster everybody hate in better quality:
Is not bad but as some of you have said there're too many people, too many people in a little space and honestly don't like those kind of poster.
Re: Struck by Lightning Main thread
my take? the fan poster LOOKS better. but the official poster has the better "messaging". w the fan poster you hvae absolutely no idea what the movie is remotely about.

^ Is this festival a big deal in the industry? I think it's an event to honor LGBT-related films and LGBT filmmakers, right?
Anyway, glad that SBL is going to close the festival

Yes. Chris was there 2 years ago to present an award for Jane Lynch. I don't know how big it is but among the LGBT events related to film industry, I think it's the best known with the Glaad awards.BlueJazz wrote:^ Is this festival a big deal in the industry? If you haven't seen Chris presenting the award to Jane, here's a video, it's not the official video though (it got edited because of some Chris's jokes? lol), he was really funny:

^What is with that picture though? Kurt Hummel in the middle of Struck by Lightning, and I'm assuming Chris the "Glee-actor" advertising is full on? Gleeffoni, does it translate? I'm assuming we will get a lot of Glee references in promotion for all the festivals.

Re: Struck by Lightning Main thread
Weell, he can't really expect to escape the comparison or the connection to glee at this point. it is advertised as part teen comedy/part coming of age story/part drama and chris is only known in the world with relation to glee. i would have been genuinely shocked if he had missed that kind of an introduction. glee is gonna fallow him wherever he goes for a long time, i just hope it's not going to be for a life time.
