My hunch is that Lea's first album did well enough, aka 200-250 K copies sold that Lea's label is going to have her do a big promotional push/tour after Glee finishes filming next year for the second album. Lea has never toured as a solo artist in the last 6 years and I do think interest in seeing her live by fans could have some great potential for the tour.

An abbreviated tour this summer never made any sense to me, especially when they were originally scheduled to start filming Glee again in July.

i am all for recycling. i mean, why toss out a nice expensive dress that you love just because the groom is changed? the groom doesn't wear the wedding dress. i see no point of waste money and resources. and i am not being sarcastic at all. but when it comes to this sudden decision to marry, i have to roll my eyes a bit. i hope naya is serious about this relationship and it's not some sort of rebounding thing. i don't have the feeling that this girl has her 2 feet on the ground yet.

I'll say here what I said when Lea was seen with her gigolo boyfriend. So long as she's happy and knows what she's doing, I wish them the best but it's none of my business.

Naya, broke up with Sean in April, so she's been dating this friend for maybe 3 months?   I'm guessing they have a past together, or at least I hope so...

BTW, I believe Naya is the first of the younger Glee actors to get married. (I know Heather has a baby with her partner)

Good for Lea. She's got to start doing non-musical parts if she wants to expand her acting career. This is a good move on her part.

Per the article, both "Sons of Anarchy" and Glee are both 20th Century Fox TV shows.

Personally I don't think it's a big deal that Lea  has singing or non singing roles, a lot of Broadway stars or musical stars do both.  Broadway's  Aaron Tveit  wasn't afraid to accept the role of Eljoras as a  movie role  in "Les Miz": I dunno,  I just think of it in terms of if something is a good role or not.  

So many Broadway stars interchange movie/TV /stage roles routinely that I seriously doubt that Lea will  be irrevocably typecast as "only" a Broadway singing star.  She was in a TV series for 6 years so she will most likely get more TV  offers like SOA, some musical, some not.  However I do think it's a hoot she'll be playing a single mother waitress... (wait, she's already played a waitress on a diner on Glee...  )

Look at Chris with "Noel" he's going to sing and play a gay character. Again.  The bigger issue is how well he nails the part.

For the "Sons of Anarchy", have they started filming yet for this season?  If so, Lea  may have a week or two of less Glee filming to accommodate her SOA Gig.
