In English, a Casserole is a one pan meal. You basically put all of your incrediants in the same pan, and bake it.

as well as jellyfish (which has a texture of over-cooked cartiliage - if you grow up w/ this food you will crave it)

In french, it means a saucepan but in a figurative sense, it is used to call people who can't sing (singing out of tune constantly) and are not aware of it (deaf tone), they can be a real annoyance/unlimited source of fun lol when they're passionate about singing.

Just stumbled upon a fic from Burt's POV with regards to a scene that most of us wished we've gotten in 'On My Way'-- a scene where Kurt actually had a conversation with his dad about Karofsky's suicide attempt and his own guilt issues.

I was never into fanfic until I read Jelly's. I keep wanting to read others (mainly ones that are Klaine heavy) but never find time.

Here's another fic rec on my end. 'Last Friday Night' by Miggy, the same author of the Mostverse fics.

Summary: Kurt wakes up without pants and attempts to find out what had happened the previous night. Apparently quite a few members of New Directions (male and female alike) had taken advantage of his drunken state to make out with him.

The summary sounds pervy, but this is really a PG-13 fic and is quite hilarious.

Here's a really great fic, by lls_mutant. It's about Burt Hummel mainly, when Kurt was just a little boy, and how he went from being homophobic to the accepting, supportive father we see on the show. It's very good, very powerful, I really liked it.

A link to an old interview of Chris' (+ Cory, Dianna, Jane etc.) from the Rolling Stone, it features one of the times he gave his famous "forgive and forget is bullshit" speeches. I really recommend reading it despite the Rolling Stone's questionable journalistic devices. It's actually a very insightful article into Chris circa 2010.

There's a fanfic that I've been meaning to recommend here for a while, but had held back because of its NC-17 rating.

However, I now realize that just because a fic is rated as 'R' or 'NC-17' doesn't mean it's not allowed here. There are other reasons for a fic to get that rating; not just the pornographic ones Razz

So, here it is:

Special by Miggy

Glee/Marvel universe crossover fic. The New Directions regain their suppressed superpowers and memories. We learn why Kurt seems to be able to wear all those expensive designer clothes and why Sue is determined to destroy Glee club (and it's a much better reason than 'I hate the arts'). Rated for violence and character death.

(P.S. My summary sucks and this fic is a lot better than how I made it sound. I just don't want to give away too much of the plot ooppss

)

I'm still recovering from this bout of rage and depression that the S3 finale of Glee had induced in me.

Also, the latest chapter of the sequel to Miggy's 'Special' fic is seriously not helping me to cheer up. I used to eat up Kurt angst like candy. Now I no longer have the stomach for it (I believe it'll take some time for this to pass).

I have a request to the Glee fanfic readers here for recommendations of Kurt-centric fics that are light-hearted and, more importantly, funny. I'm desperately seeking some cheer right now.

Summary : Kurt doesn't remember why his father insists on taking him to see the Nutcracker every Christmas. Burt remembers, perhaps a little too clearly, that it was his first step his wife made him take towards accepting his unusual little boy. Oneshot. COMPLETE.

Neither of them know just how much their worlds are about to change.

I can't post the link here because it'll be NC-17 eventually. It's updated till chapter 20 and I think it's only halfway through because the whole story will be SUPER LONG. But, both the writing and idea of this fic is just FANTASTIC and I have to admit that I'm a bit hooked to it Embarassed

I think I might appreciate them if I still ship Klaine (because I'm ok with NC-17 rated fanfics which have graphic scenes but will skip some sex scenes if there's too much) but will still feel weird seeing Kurt being in those unspeakable positions with another man blushh

Sadly, I'm no longer a Klainer so I have to avoid those stuff so I won't feel nauseated.

Completely agreed with the bolded. Besides, I personally think that the show's bad writing is motivating fans to write fanfictions, too. Isn't that funny? dryy
