^Aww, Kevin is so sweet, and such a fanboy. I love their friendship.
Although he also looked very, very nice at the Paris SBL premiere.

Haha, Chris really knows how to tweet! I love it.
I am happy the teacher storyline didn't pan out. I never like that. But overall, I bet Chris would be very happy to discover the dark and controsersial sides of Mr Kurt Hummel. I bet he would push for a dom/sub dynamic... as the dom obviously (I am sorry, I've read a fic about that topic yesterday. First one I actually liked.)

I can't wait to see Chris in a more controversial role. With all his declarations that he would love to play someone evil and wished Kurt was meaner, I'm sure he definitely wants to play a villain. And considering his talent, I'm sure he'd be perfect.
I think Chris is not afraid to play someone less "sweet gentle boy" than what we've seen him portray until now, I hope he'll have the opportunity to portray someone radically different from Kurt.

He does give very good interviews.
Doesn't over talk and seems to listen to the questions his interviewer gives him before he responds. Per his personality, really does keep most of his Cory thoughts to himself, I get the impression it's very , very personal to him.

And sometimes these questions are very leading as well. This Jenny woman uses this twice in this interview as well. She gives somewhat long vinding monologue about Cory, gives her regards and actually doesn't ask anything.
I like how Chris does notices this and actually doesn't say anything personal at all, which is just the way I image his brain would work. He just agrees with this lady. It very much feels like he wants to do this without any attention.
I feel it's great he can still do these and recieve these somewhat "idiotic" questions that he'll be probably getting years to come.

Kurt having relationship with a teacher could have been interesting storyline but not on Glee, these kind of storylines are always mess with these writers. I kinda wonder if it's true he wanted it before Blaine appeared or if he said it just because that girl was so shocked he would want Kurt to cheat on Blaine. Not that I think Chris was totally innocent back then, but he seemed much more shy and also kinda nervous who is going to be cast as his boyfriend etc so it's suprising to me he would have wanted his first on screen relationship controversial like this.

Maybe it was something he witnessed happening to someone in his own environment in highschool? And, without suggesting anything I might add, it's not uncommon for sexually confused young people to be a prey of 'understanding' teachers.arina wrote:Kurt having relationship with a teacher could have been interesting storyline but not on Glee, these kind of storylines are always mess with these writers. So it could be that Chris got that story from real life.
With the state Kurt was in in season 1, wanting to be recognized and loved, he was a very easy target, even when the teacher he had fallen in love with had Kurt's best interests at heart at first.
So I do believe that Chris might have suggested such a storyline even before Blaine came in. And imagine: what if Blaine had been a young teacher instead of a
Another thing: Chris wrote 'Struck By Lightning' when he was 15-16? And he went very deep into several major controversial 'mature' storylines in SBL already, including a teacher sleeping with a student.

Chris was a writer since he was a kid, and as he put it, being a writer is something of a God complex for him, as in can control a whole world.
So I have no problem thinking he could device all kinds of controversial subjects on his mind from say, the age of 5 onward.

TV Guide just ran their TV star salary issue,
Inside the Mag they had a list of estimated salaries....I'm guessing these are for the previous season. It was by no means an all inclusive list.
Anyways they had listed for Glee: Matt Morrison, Lea Michele and Jane Lynch all at $ 80,000 per episode.
I'm guessing Chris is probably at that level or slightly below?
For comparison the ensemble cast of Modern Family (also finishing their 4th year) get $ 175,000 per episode.

There are currently gifs on Tunblr about Kurt being a serial killer. I really, really want Chris to play a coldhearted, malicious serial killer. I don't know why, but I need to see it.
The Glee stars earn peatnuts for HW standards. But I am sure he received a pay raise between S4 and 5. He is to powerful for the show and has a good managenent team. I bet he got some royalties, we never will even know about.

Last year some apparent source said he was getting $75,000 per episode.Lottie2303 wrote:There are currently gifs on Tunblr about Kurt being a serial killer. I really, really want Chris to play a coldhearted, malicious serial killer. I don't know why, but I need to see it.

But as I feel Chris and his people seem to be tight lipped about what he gets, I doubt we will ever know, which is fine by me.

Between Chris, Matt, Lea, and Jane being left out of entire episodes, how much money did Glee spend on salaries for actors they didn't use (since they get paid whether or not they are in the episode)? I don't know how many episodes Jane and Matt missed, but it was more than Chris and Lea. For the three episodes they left Chris and Lea out of, they spent $450,000 on their salaries.
Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 7
Chris hates to be asked how much he makes, and I don't blame him. Remember when he was asked that in a radio interview and he went: "None of your damned business!" ?ColferInspired wrote:Last year some apparent source said he was getting $75,000 per episode.Lottie2303 wrote:There are currently gifs on Tunblr about Kurt being a serial killer. That a good amount of money if you ask me. But I know some people don't like to talk about how much they earn, because it could leads to comments like you're getting that money for doing nothing, which I don't believe is the case of Chris, even though I read jokes like he's still paid although Glee doesn't use him sometimes. What's a pity btw.ColferInspired wrote:Last year some apparent source said he was getting $75,000 per episode.Lottie2303 wrote:There are currently gifs on Tunblr about Kurt being a serial killer. One of Chris's favorite movies in "Notes on a Scandal" in which one of the main plotlines is a teacher sleeping with a student.Glorfindel wrote:Maybe it was something he witnessed happening to someone in his own environment in highschool?
