It sure looks like they are pushing the old ones out. I'm mostly shocked that Lea is featured so little in this. I guessed that Chris doesn't get to sing anymore, but come on.

And yes that they are using Chris and Kurt Hummel as a promotion tool when they have no intention including him in todays and some upcoming episodes or the albums is disgusting. I hate advertising that is false. Just goes to show that, as well as not openly giving credit to the old cast, they do not respect their audience either! Patronising assholes!

I guess we should be proud that Chris is one of "the names" to do the promotion with, but it's just so unfair that he doesn't get to do what he loves and we do not get to see excellent acting and what we love. Colfer summer brought good news every morning to my breakfast table, now all I get is furious and sad. Glum changes to SBL cheer soon, yay!

Sometimes I wish Chris wasn't the adorable person that he is and just plainly told FOX to go fuck themselves with a chainsaw when they ask him to promote Glee, sorry, Blee. But he is too much of a class act for that.

Another very fun fact is that, apart from Blake in one BTS, none of the newbies have been used to promote the show (or none that I know of, I couldn't be arsed to look for it, TBH), but they are the one they want us to root for...yeah right.

Unfortunately, I don't think the ratings will drop just because NY is not in the episode: the GA will just assume that after a heavily NY-centered episode as TBU, the show counter-balances it with McKinley, and that's it. GA is less invested in the characters than fans are, and thus won't particularly mind if Kurt's and Rachel's POV are left out for a while.

I really don't know what to do tomorrow: catch the episode on the internet "unspoiled" or come here and see if it's worth it...or will only infuriate me... Hmmmm.... To watch or not to watch.....

Unfortunately, Chris can't really tell off Fox and the producers if he is unhappy. It would be career suicide--he'd get a bad rep, and other producers/studios wouldn't want to work with him. The studio owns him now. The contracts protect the studios more than the actors. Chris can't just walk away from the contract--the studio would have to agree to it--but the studio can cut his contract if they wanted to. I believe they have to get approval for side projects, especially ones that would occur during the shooting season.

At least Chris is getting good money for the show whether he is on it or not. If their name is on the opening credits, Fox has to pay them. I just was looking at the first couple of episodes, and Mark, Amber, and Naya are all still in the opening credits, so they are all still under contract with Fox.

That being said, I don't know what the hell Fox and RIB are thinking by not using their best talent who also happen to be the people in their cast who garner the most interest in the media. And I don't get why they are paying for all these cast members they aren't using.

So..... they are using a picture of the 2 most popular characters, who live in New York, to promote an episode that has no New York, nor any Kurt nor Rachel in it.

When they were promoting "Makeover" where I am they showed Hummelberry and not the McKinley side.

I think our ten has already heard from fans which part of Glee they like and I think Fox are aware that Kurt and Rachel are popular in other countries. Episode 5 I don't think will go down too well here or episode 7.

I love how they say Kurt and Rachel's names, and we don't see a lot of Blaine in the promo's. Of course they show Brody a lot.

Oh this is just great. I have a sneaky suspicion that they will slip in a snippet of Kurt's voicemail or an unanswered email to "emphasise" Blaine's attempts in connection already in this episode, to actual dare call it Klaine-storyline. Would Ryan actually dare to use these shipping terms without including the actual...oh wait this is Ryan. Dumb question.

These past two days their pure double standards of saying they are pushing new kids upfront but cowarding out when it actually comes for them to promote shit with these kids. Glee's fonts, colours and visuals are already recognisable enough if they wanted to do promotion with their new toys and faces.

I'm glad that I have a buzy day tomorrow so that I don't have to "miss" any of these great things happening in Glee first hand.

^Another 'fun' part about that tweet is that Ryan named 3 of the 4 most important ships on the show, and all of those 3 are missing 1 half,.... while the 4th ship, Wemma, is the only couple who has actual interaction and a storyline in tonight's episode.


About Klaine: I think the spoilers indeed said that Blaine would try to contact Kurt tonight, but Kurt won't answer. So there's the "great stuff" of Klaine for ya.

The only couple mentioned with stuff (I do not know if they are great or not) is Brittana because Santana and Brittany appearing in the two episode

Klaines and Finchels in these two episodes are going to have the same things: arguments between the couples

I think stupid they do not use the new characters for promotions.

I am sorry to the Blaine's fans but I just hate that character. I have found out during new episode he bothers me even more than the newbies, I am kinda indifferent to them (well they bore me to death) but I just can't stand Blaine's character. Why Klaine has to be endgame, why? there would be so many possibilities for Kurt's boyfriend and for great dynamic couple but he is stucked with Blaine... It's not fair.

I like Darren, but I am laughing almost every time Blaine is on screen, I just can't take that character seriously, since season 3 at least.

That is just incredibly smart of people to create these. And mind me saying, needs a lot of anger and frustration too.

I'm just probably not going to watch the episode because what's the point. I can not be interested in the new kids and I've got better programs to watch than Glee.

What I'm pleased with, sickeningly pleased, is that the ratings are not getting better. The show has not had it's vigorating push they so desperately need. Unfortunately they've already lost a quite significant piece of watchers that are not coming back even if they start coming back from whatever galaxy their brains have been spending time in.
