BlueJazz wrote:Not gonna lie, I gave in and tweeted Trollphy for the 2 deleted scenes. I requested for them very politely and I didn't stroke his ego. I'm not sure if I'm proud of my actions.
Here's the pics for the Fergalicious scene:
I really missed cheerio!Kurt after seeing those pics
...
This sounds silly but I really want Kurt to have a bf who has great singing chemistry with him so they can sing adorable, great duets on my screen. But maybe that's too much to ask for
He looks so good wearing that uniform. Sorry for that shallow comment and think and feel you're doing this for seeing those Kurt's deleted scenes, then hate trollphy again.
Umm about your request, cross your fingers that Ryan find a new toy-boy with those characteristics
Re: Glee deleted scenes
RM offered 2 options for people to vote for right now. One is a missing Hummelberry yearbook scene. Go vote for this if you can. I do not care about Santana and do not wish to see another scene from her (he coming out is the other option).

Do you vote for scenes just by tweeting to him?

Re: Glee deleted scenes
We probably won't win against the Santana fans. They're tweeting a lot more than the Hummelberry fans. Can't he just post both and make everyone happy?

Re: Glee deleted scenes
Part of me feels Ryan is trying to repair some fandom resentments regarding Rachel's journey of Bliss season 3, but that was a great scene. This is what I wish Glee was, about friendships, not just love relation drama. I think friendships are harder to write, but for the most part, it is the friendships that are remembered after a show, not who slept with whom. Rachel is so much more honest with Kurt than she is with anyone else, and that honesty makes her human, someone we can appreciate.
Of course, this just reinforces my head canon when Kurt decides he wants to become a father, Rachel will be the surrogate, just to see what an amazing child would come from their two sets of genes.

OMG My hummelberry feelings are back!!! Love this scene. Deeply still I love this friendship.
DAMN RM ¬¬ btw why did he do contest if at the end he showed both videos?
@Divalicious, you're headcanon is right, I also see Rachel of the surrogate mother. That baby will be "pretty and noisy with a huge talent" :D
Re: Glee deleted scenes
About the deleted scenes from Trollphy.
Glee went from 19 to 3 nominations in 2 years. While it's rating are "good enough" it took a severe hit from it's season one ratings and has declined the next two years. Whcih could mean even more of a dip in the ratings for season four. None of Glee's regular actors got an Emmy nomination , and the buzz in the press/media is that Glee has seen it's best days. The show is moving to Thursdays at 9:00 PM versus an aging but established scripted show drama "Grey's Anatomy" and there is no certainty Glee's GA will follow the schedule migration.
Ryan Murphy wants to insure that Glee survives the 4th season fairly intact in order to get the holy grail minimum number of syndication episodes. It makes sense, and it's smart, but of course it's totally self serving, which is OK, if the SOB didn't act as if he's doing it out of some noblesse oblige nod to the fans.

Yes, the scene was very sweet and I liked most of it, but I started grumbling when Kurt read the sentence from Rachel about seeing him on Broadway...

Re: Glee deleted scenes
I am going to seem ungrateful but I am not Klaine fan and I don't like Hummelberry (as best friends) either, so I am not biggest fan of either of those scenes...
I would be probably the happiest for deleted scenes from season 1, because there was my favorite Kurt (and favorite almost everything else as well).

Yeah, same here.bayth wrote:Yes, the scene was very sweet and I liked most of it, but I started grumbling when Kurt read the sentence from Rachel about seeing him on Broadway...
Sorry to be the party pooper, but I'm glad this scene got cut. The scene was cute in itself, but I really didn't like it's implications.
It's all about Kurt being Rachel's friend and example/support, and how she needs him (for her) in New York. It's another lip-service to let us know how ~inspirational Kurt is, but we know he's not anymore. And once again, it is a private scene, acknowledgment from one person, not from e.g. the whole of ND, or one of the teachers, and there's no reward like a solo offered to him. It's all tell, but no show: Kurt still is underappreciated in ND and he never made a difference in the school's bullying policy, not that we saw.
And, as @bayth said: hearing Rachel talk to Kurt about going to New York together, in the same episode they pull the rug from underneath Kurt, is just infuriating me again.
What. The. Hell?
Either RIB already knew that Kurt would not get into NYADA and this is just an attempt to put the stakes even higher and to make the punch in the gut even more hurtful (which is a disgusting thing to do), or when this scene was written and filmed RIB hadn't decided to let Kurt fail NYADA yet, which is even more appaling, because that would indicate a really last minute decision on Kurt's fate.
Aaaaargh, it amazes me how angry I still get about these sort of things.

Re: Glee deleted scenes
The released Glee scenes so far are not making me feel anything whatsoever. I still like most of the cast, and I can appreciate some of the characters, but I can't feel anything more than indifference to the show right now, knowing how bad the writers of this show are.
Yes, the lip-service-only to Kurt is becoming tiresome to me too. I wish I can still feel somewhat happy and excited about these released scenes, but I can't.
I seriously think that Season 3 had killed whatever interest I have left of Glee.

I thought the Hummelberry scene was cute, but too sappy for my taste.
Same for me. I'm not invested in Glee anymore, and only way to change that is if the writing gets better...or if they give me a Kurtbastian

He's being inspiring to others to be themselves when the show shows him being rejected by being either too gay or not gay enough is bizarre. And the talk of them conquering Broadway together in the same episode he gets rejected from NYADA just makes it seem like sadistic overkill if they had included that scene.

I want to like this scene and I do in some weird way, but it reminds me so much of that awful ending in Goodbye so it makes me more upset than happy. So this is a punch directly in my face, yes. I just love Lea and Chris together and Lea is not making her ugly cry face here at all, they are both so natural.

Other then that, my HummelBerry soul-mates together
There is defentaly an embedded hypocrisy in the show. Kurt is great at inspiring others to be themselves and succeeded because of it, but he is denied the same success based on the same thing. Basically, it's all right for everyone else to be themselves but Kurt. What he is offering is not needed or desired. The pain, the sweet the tears, all of it, will never be enough for him.

Re: Glee deleted scenes
Pro: I love how there's someone telling him how much he means to them, and what a good person he is. I don't care that it's just a private scene, it's in the yearbook so everybody will be allowed to read it.
And i loved that Kurt choked up when he read that somebody said that about him. It's not that anybody else has ever done that. Yeah Finn in Furt.
con: well, now we know for sure why kurt is going to end up in NY anyway.
