And about size and attitude: some geese are known to be very good (and dangerous) watchdogs, and they were often used by farmers. You cannot get past a goose when it's protecting his farmyard: it will bite and break your legs with its beak and wings.
I heard that in many buddist monastaries they use geese as "watch dogs". they are ferocious but they don't have teeth. and they are less likely to be stolen and eaten than dogs.
I used to live in this house w/ a pond/lake in the backyard and there were always ducks and geese there. they ate young spring grass and littered all over the lawn. we put a fense around but they still came. one day a whole family was feasting on our lawn - both parents and a troup of babies. my mom got so mad she took a broomstick and waved at them in attempt to get them off the lawn, but they got trapped inside the fense, and in a panic couldn't find the way out. the ducklings were screaming. so the parents got into the attack mode and fought w/ my mom for a good 15 or more minutes. My mom didn't get hurt but she was furious. I couldn't stop laughing.

I just realised (I'm slow and keep repeating thoughts) after this recent photo that Chris posted that this is just what "normal" 22 yo olds do: they post silly and cute pointless photos of themselves all over Twitter and facebook even more extensively than Chris himself currently can do.
Chris is everything age appropriate despite having an inner grandma and IMO that is why a lot of people must find him adorable and, well sexy. I am just so happy that he gets these riots going with these kinds of pictures we got today, paparazzi pictures of him working on a set and a casual everyday life commentary photo. Not necessary posing, set or semi-naked...just him. This is not to say that he can't do proff shoots but he does not need to inorder to be noticed.
PS. He must have started to realise by now that his looks have an quirky effect on people...he must.

I think he does and it gives his self-esteem a bit of a boost, and therefore confidence about his looks and body. Ego is a word that would ever be attached to Chris, he is not that sort of person, you see that in the interviews he does and we read about. I think he is too mature for that.
I think the attention gives him a bit a laugh, a smile, and it makes him feel good. It's cute that he blushes when he hears things like this said to his face about him being a swan and being beautiful as the fan said to him during the book tour.

Celebrity Roast (comedians tell jokes about one specific person - AKA "roast" the celebrity) for Rosanne Barr. Jane Lynch is the host and then other comedians will talk about Rosanne. They tape the program and then will broadcast it next week (I think). Chris and Ashley were invited to attend. I doubt that they were up on the podium to address the audience...fantastica wrote:^ what's does it mean?

#DisappointedToo I'd watch it just for Chris in leader, or very little on.
But, truthfully, he is too young looking for the part. Maybe when he is 30.

He is a character in the book Fifty Shades of Gray. I haven't read it, not my kind of book, but it is the "It" book right now in the states. So of course like any best seller, people begin wondering about if it will become a movie, and who would be cast.

He's the main character in John Green's book 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. They're planning on making a movie of that book now. Christian Grey is handsome and quite a player in the sexual field.FunnyLady wrote:Who or what is Christian Grey? Can anybody tell me?
So.....no.
(Even though Chris is handsome and sexy and all: he's way too young, and I doubt they would let a gay actor play a straight ladykiller.)

John Green didn't write "50 shades of gray". Erika Leonard, better known by the pseudonym E. L. James wrote it. It's basically an erotic s/m novel aka PWP (porn without plot). It's the No. 1 book in the world for some reason. IDK why, I red better PWP fanfiction to be honest. The prose is clunky at best, and you want to slap the heroin for having so little self respect. But, it could make and interesting movie, if they rework it and add a lot more plot. If the screenplay sucks, no hot actor or actress and their smocking sex scenes can save it.

Thanks. No.1 novel and I don´t know the book ............ so ashamed
So erotic novel you say? I think you are right. Although Chris is very sexy he´s too young for such a role. On the other side, just imagine - innocent face on the outside but inside .... yes, I think this could work

Thank you for correcting this....I was about to be offended on John Green's behalf. Nah, I'm kidding. But John Green wrote the Printz Award winning Looking for Alaska, as well as The Fault in Our Stars, among others. I've read them both and they were wonderful, deep, and thought-provoking stories about grief and loss. And a thousand times better than 50 Shades of Gray.
That's why it was quite an honor for John Green to tweet to Chris that he really liked his book, because Green is a very prestigious and successful writer himself, and why Chris said it "made his life" to hear he liked it.
Anyway, I hope Chris stays far, far, far away from a movie adaptation of 50 Shades. Chris can do so much better than that. I'd rather see him in meaningful, unique roles over shallow blockbuster roles anyday.
Speaking of good roles, I'm still so excited for when we start getting more details about Chris's asylum movie and what his character will be like!

Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 3
Actually Kurt is going to be in this movie. Yes, he is the back story of Christian Gray, which is an alias. Kurt, heartbroken after his boyfriend sang 1000 songs with everyone but him decided to try out the heterosexual life, because obviously that worked for others. He started out as a boytoy to many famous rich women, but when he decided he wanted some girl toys, he went to Switzerland, had a few minor adjustments to his face, except you don't touch that fabulous hair, and came out as Christain Gray, user of women extraordinaire. This book is his memoir, and the writing is clunky because his heart is broken from being so untrue to himself. I believe he is planning another book, this one in which he realizes the errors of his way, especially after dealing with a particularly charming, gorgeous, obviously lying to himself spouse of a woman Kurt, I mean Christian just slept with. He plans on converting his well-honed talents into seducing said individual. He will write a sequel, "To Hell with Gray, Kurt Hummel is back", once he is back from his honeymoon. True story.

But the real question is: has he succumbed reading it? Is it peer pressure or is he just being curious? I passed a HUGE pile of them in the bookstore today, continued my journey twice as fast. There's more than one of them?! Or at least with the same cover design and idea!

I saw them everywhere in the airport bookstores last week when I was on my trip....50 Shades is just the first book in a trilogy, that's why there's so many.
As for succumbing to peer pressure....that's what happened to me with the Twilight series, all my friends were reading it so I read it too. But in the Watch What Happens Live interview, Chris implied he hadn't read 50 Shades because he "doesn't have the right body parts to enjoy it" ( ), but, who knows.
