some one (a fan/extra) tweeted the pic of the national setlist and in that tweet also has darren's name on it. so a fan asked if it means dc has a significant song part, and the reply is basically (but not in these exact words) "can't tell you but the set list I posted is not complete and there are more surprises". that's regarding the first setlist (not hte tiny teeny one I posted later, which has Tongue Tied and We are the champions on it).

I haven't allowed myself to sink into the depths of despair and disappointment over the leaked Nationals set list because I watch Glee mainly for Chris/Kurt. The songs are of secondary importance. (Not that I'm not pissed over Kurt not featured significantly in competitions yet once again; far from it)

The only redeeming thing about Glee is that it (hopefully) gives Chris a fat monthly paycheck to finance his projects outside of Glee.

It's not a Kim thing. I think at least half of us here on this board would have quit the show long ago if it weren't for Chris.

I'm not as affected by the Kurt singing at nationals as the rest of you because I just never thought that they would give him a solo or a duet, especially after that foolish Troubletones deal. Rachel singing a solo is a given. The Troubletones singng a song is a given. And Blaine getting a significant part of a song is a given.

I guess I've reached the point where I don't let Kurt lack of singing bother me anymore. I'm grateful for every note we get to hear him sing, and at least we know he'll get one more fun song (though I'm said we didn't get anything really epic from him this season--they could have cute one mediocre Blaine song to give us something epic from him).

The only good thing about Blaine singing so much is it saves me lots of money on iTunes songs because I hardly ever buy Blaine solos anymore.

That's what I say. For season two, he was making $45,000 an episode. Hopefully that was renegotiated for season 3 after his Golden Globe win, so hopefully he makes $50,000 (it was published that Matt makes $55,000 and Jane makes $60,000 per episode).

I'm rather zen about all this. I expected little or nothing and that is exactly what we got.

And the thing is I don't hate Rachel solos or Finchel duets. The sectional and Regionals of season 1 are still my favorite by a mile. But they had a point, it was important for the story.

In season 2 Kurt should have had a solo or a duet at nationals - that was the earned storyline that we were building all season and it didn't happen.

In season 3, he and Blaine should have gone against Sebastian at Regionals - the storyline was building toward it and again nothing. So, even though this last Nationals should be about the seniors and them alone - look at what we get. What exactly are Finn and Rachel overcoming now. Ok, I guess I understand why Rachel - it's probably NYADA related and she is the club's star , but TraitorTones - the traitors and defectors who are guarantied a song because they DIDN'T stay loyal to the team - great way to treat loyalty RIB, and another Finchel group number, after a gazillion we ha had.

But as I said, this is what I was expecting and it is what I got.

I guess it really is fun swaying in the background. Who knew.

I can honestly say I hate Glee now. I watch it because of the old cast (not just Chris), but that's about it.

I'm just so, so sad that Chris doesn't get to sing more, because we all know that after Glee he probably will never sing in public again.

Oooooooooo Chris is always so handsome. This picture makes me want to see him play in a spy thriller movie of some sort.

I'm just so, so sad that Chris doesn't get to sing more, because we all know that after Glee he probably will never sing in public again.

This is one of the reasons I'm sad too. Amber, Darren, Naya, probably Lea are all going to make solo albums with record companies so their fans are going to hear them sing more regardless of Glee. But it's not the same with Chris. And I don't want Chris to make an album unless he wants to, he shouldn't have to roll over to appease his fans, but I won't deny that I'll be so, so sad when Glee is over and I know we won't get to hear Chris's beautiful singing voice again.

And it's true he may be on Broadway someday, and if he is and they make a cast recording with him I will buy it in a heartbeat, but that may be few and far between and it's not the same. It may take years for that to happen, when on Glee at least some sort of Chris song is only a week to a few months away.

I just want Chris to sing, especially when Kurt has a storyline, because I know how much I'll miss his voice when Glee is over.

I never really expected him to sing either, but between the Troubletones and Rachel and Finn and totally ignoring the others, it is annoying. If Blaine gets a big moment that will also be annoying. Finally, I really hate the songs on that list.

The whole episode is going to be "we want to win so bad, we will sing these songs, huzzah, we won, lets sing a victory song with Rachel/Finn/Blaine/Santana as the lead". That will not interest me at all. So I will wait and see if other spoilers contradict this or you guys tell me it is worthwhile sitting through songs I dislike to watch this episode. I am not a masochist, wait, I watch this damn show, maybe I am...
