Haha. Well, if you want revenge, there's a certain movie I'm absolutely terrified of.

You're evil! How can I be okay after that?
No. I haven't seen it, though I'd like to, even if I'm a total chicken for terror movies. Hahaha. Except for The Shining. That one I could watch over and over and over.
Oh, yes. I'm fine. Just a bit busy with work (I've waited so long to be able to say that! I feel important!) and I've kept a bit caught up at tumblr when I come to the Internet.

You said I could take revenge and that what I did Besides I didn't thought it was gonna be easy to find the movie o.o there're a lot of films with demons and girls.
I searched on internet The Shining, only to found out that is El Resplandor in spanish lol. Here a small massacre:
- Spoiler:
I haven't seen A tale of two sisters yet, so that why I asked you. I want to know some opinions.
PS: Wait a minute? You're someone that like to be busy because of work? Weird and I understand you, Tumblr is the perdition when you're on internet

Really regretted clicking on those spoiler bars...
If I get nightmares tonight, I'll... No, wait. I was about to say exact revenge by posting even more gory and frightening pictures here, but then it'd backfire on me because I'll end up being the one getting scared.
I'll have to rethink my revenge plan a bit more.
And hi paulopf! Good to see you back here again!

I've heard that phrase in japanese movies/animes/series but could you remind me what it means please?

It means something like "have a safe trip" but it's more like a ritual formula you say each time someone announce you that he's leaving the homebrisallie wrote:I've heard that phrase in japanese movies/animes/series but could you remind me what it means please?Shinra17 wrote:

Re: Movies reviews by yourself
Okay. I've recently seen this greek movie, named Kynodontas, in english Dogtooth, that I want to recommend in case you haven't seen.
It's one of those film so incisive and powerful that make you sick, but it's worth it. ...Not that there is a kind of sick that is worthy to try, but well!
Here's the trailer!
To sum up with wikiwiki's words, the movie is "about a husband and wife who keep their children imprisoned on their property into adulthood". They kept them in the safely of the house (...well they think is safe, it's not really because the parents are not so okay), protecting them from the bad world outside with really questionable methods, and saying that they'll reach the right time to go outside only when their doogtooth will naturally fall (of course, not the milk tooth), something pretty impossible at their age.
I don't want to say too much about the plot, if you're interested go read it/watch the film. But I'll say that is a movie with an heavy and evident political/religious metaphor (reflections about rules, mental and social constructions), described in a really smart but rigid way (oh gosh, there are some static shots that make you want to take the camera and move it by yourself), rigid as their parents/oppressors.
It's an interesting movie, but disturbing in some way. Not horror heh, I can't watch horror I'm like a baby, but you finish the movie quite upset.
...After that is higly recommended a really long walk in a pretty big park with no high fences.

I'm watching Starship Troopers right now for the 20-30th time. It's so cheesy but so much fun.

Re: Movies reviews by yourself
I love it. I saw it in the cinema when it first came out back in 1997 - I was like 11/12 at the time. (there was no rating system in our cinemas back then - anyone of any age could watch everything except porn in cinemas - it's more or less the same now). I like horrors a lot (maybe not as much as I did when I was younger) and this is a really fun movie for me. I have a really hard stomach and very few things on screen will turn me away.
You are all a bunch of pansies.

Wow. I read your summary and watched the trailer thanks to the link you provided. Now I really want to watch the whole thing! Looks disturbingly good, but I'm wondering where can I find a Greek movie in my country! Argh!
