I have never seen such sloppy writing and research in any show on tv.

Story lines centered around Sam and Tina, coupled with the pairing of the previous episode of Kitty and Artie, doesn't seem to indicate a vote of confidence for Marley, Jake and Ryder as the new leads. It's like the show runners are trying any combination to see what will stick in Lima.
A fifth girlfriend/LI for Sam to generate interest?
Says it all.
On the positive side, Dantana looks interesting and Kurt as a waiter has so many comic possibilities.
I am wryly amused that my suspicions that the Klaine engagement will be a LDR with minimum contact between the two boys in two different states may come to pass.
In a way, getting the engagement done and over with may be a blessing in disguise.
Certainly looks to me like Rachel won't get the "Funny Girl " part.

I'm not holding my breath for it either. i've learned long ago with this show to keep your expectation to a bare minimum. Can't be disappointed if you don't expect anything.

TBH, if against all odds, it's a fitting and memorable tribute which honors Cory/Finn in a respectful way, it is one time that it is irrelevant to me wether Chris/Kurt gets a solo or not. Would I prefer it, of course I would.
Yet against the bigger context I just can't get too worked up about it anymore. Not that I'm implying you are tanita...

I'm not holding my breath either, but I have to admit I will be quite disappointed if Kurt does not get to sing, especially if certain others do.
I will have respect as much as I can for the difficult circumstances, but there's a way of not letting Kurt sing that I would be okay with (as long as they give him something else to do because Finn was his stepbrother after all) and I won't bitch when at other times/episodes I would, and there's a way for them to mess it up horribly and then I won't be silent.

I fully expect for Kurt to carry some emotional dramatic scenes with Burt and Carole and if it is done well I'm good. Apparently the Hummel/Hudsons go over Finn's belongings...that description alone.

Ugh, and all this now (the songs) when the coroner's report just came out.
It sure makes losing Cory hurt fresh all over again. I feel as if it happened just yesterday, and I guess there was a little bit of denial still left in me.

- one thing i will be disappointing for real if it isn't featured is cory's "this is not the end". it's one of his songs that was never featured on the show that i absolutely adore (my favorite solo by him that isn't "i'll stand by you") and it's SO fitting for his memory.
