At the guitar store, Kurt and Elliot duet on “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” and there’s shimmying and caressing and gyrating and flawless harmony, and it is awesome. I sometimes wish I could rock up to McKinley High in a time machine that first day we met Kurt with the dumpster and everything, and I wish I could be like, “Spoiler alert, man: I just came from your very near future where you were legit spinning around on a stripper pole in a music shop in Manhattan, dueting with Adam Lambert.”

^Lol, Pilot Kurt would be so shocked and not exactly thrilled with that future prospect.
Who'd have thought, eh?

Re: Kurt Hummel Appreciation Thread
There're a couple of things that would provoked some shock in old Kurt, such as he's more self confidente now and is not afraid to use a pole, or he's living with Rachel and Santana.

He showed that sweet side of himself even then to those close or loved by him...who can forget throwing "Defying Gravity" because he didn't want his Dad to be hurt more?
Same, love his bitchy side and sweet lovable side

I agree 100%.
I am very excited to see if Diva Kurt would come back, I love Saucy Kurt! I miss his snarky ways and how he effortlessly threw some shade Sweet Kurt is an angel, and Diva Kurt is my kryptonite
Kurt needs to go full out diva on Blaine to show him no-one tells him what to do or tries to control him.
oh this needs to happen yesterday.

Agreed.

ChrisColfersLightning wrote:What I hope from Blee this year is to at least give Kurt a few award worthy scenes! That way Chris can get another award and when he finally leaves Glee forever, we can see Chris act in like a dramatic role, I kinda want Kurt angst because honestly Chris kills in angsty scenes, and the way Blee treats him, he deserves a voice for once! It's been almost 3 years now since Kurt ever got to speak how he feel or tell his side of the story
I just realized I am now eating my words from a week and half ago!

^With Glee it's always "Be careful what you wish for".
But I'm pretty sure you didn't cause this next storyline for Kurt with your wish.

dreakristina: I’m over 4K followers now thanks to all of you! Here’s a look into Kurt’s accessories! #glee #gleecostumes Thx!!
Everything is all Kurt or Chris.
From all these tweets, pics from the hair stylist to wardrobe and video's.
The crew absolutely adore him, and all this just proves it.

True true, I just wish Glee did not have to go do far, I know Chris is talented, but my poor heart.

Love it too. The first time I saw it was like "Kurt, did you hear carefully what Tanaka said?"
Re: Kurt Hummel Appreciation Thread
I always got the impression that he knew exactly what that could be construed as meaning and that only later did they retcon him to baby penguin... annoyingly.

Yea, Georgette one of the things that some thought "divisive" about Kurt was how he seemed saavy of what he was attracted to, the Dalton "touch of the fingertips" bullshit came later.

which turned out totally weird as the point was to both de-sexualize him and to make Blane seam as the older mentor type, only to retcon blaine's age a year later and make him the younger one.

My thoughts exactly. Case in point:Georgette888 wrote:I always got the impression that he knew exactly what that could be construed as meaning and that only later did they retcon him to baby penguin... annoyingly.
Kurt knew exactly what to do with his "fingertips" in that 2nd gif.
And this was 1x02!
Plus remember that time when April Rodes gave him those porn magazines?
The baby penguin stuff always annoyed me, and I think it was only done so Blaine could be his big romantic, more experienced hero (which he wasn't, because he already told Kurt he never had a bf either in 'Silly Lovesongs').
RIB are truly awful when it comes to continued characterisation.

RIB were lucky they had some really crafted actor there to salvage the characters whenevaer possible through solid acting. Chris, Cory and Lea (plus the seniors that Matt and Jane are) always managed to keep what made their character idiosyncratic or remarkable visible on-screen, but there is so much you can do when a complete piece of dialogue basically contradicts what you think your character is supposed to be.
Darren wasn't strong enough IMO to keep Blaine who he was in S2, where, even if I didn't warm up to him, he still was sufferable. But, to be fair with Darren, Blaine's character was morphed so much I doubt he could have remained sufferable anyway, whoever the actor was. Just look at Rachel: I think Lea gives excellent performences, that doesn't prevent me from being pissed at Rachel being treated as super-special-snowflake.
But yes, when lesser actors like Chord, Darren or Jenna must portray character whose personnality shifts with RIB's mood of the moment, this results in a disaster like S4/S5.

Agreed. I feel bad for them sometimes (even Darren) because they never know who thier playing that episode.
Re: Kurt Hummel Appreciation Thread
Poor Dianna Agron had it the worst IMO.
That character would do 180 loco turns at the drop of a hat.
