6x09 "Child Star"

ON AN ALL NEW GLEE, FRIDAY 27TH,

Sue still harbors an unrequited crush on the school district’s Superintendent, and gives his thirteen-year-old nephew – the precocious, demanding, and surprisingly talented Myron Muskovitz – free reign to avail himself of New Directions’ auditorium and talent as he prepares an elaborate musical performance for his upcoming Bar Mitzvah.

Will and Rachel seize the opportunity in the hopes it will help the glee-clubbers bond in preparation for Sectionals. Despite their obvious differences, gleeks Roderick and Spencer discover they have something in common... they each need the other’s help to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. While the doughy Roderick is in desperate straits trying to measure up to the rigorous physical standards Sue demands of her students, Spencer is equally desperate to catch the eye of Roderick’s bookish lab partner, who seems utterly unimpressed with the gay jock. The two strike an unlikely alliance, but they make minimal progress in their tasks until fate intervenes and an act of faith takes center stage.

Meanwhile, Mason grows increasingly frustrated when his attempts to flirt with Jane are constantly being thwarted by his dominant and controlling twin sister, Madison, forcing him to finally stand up for himself, with unexpected results.

Oh so this giuy Marshall is hitting on is the person I couldn't identify in the group person. What is the point.

Sue's drone is the best continuity glee has ever had.

This's myron performance is kind of uncomfortable to watch. He looks about nine.

^ Yup, super uncomfortable. I looked away from the screen while he was performing, but even listening to him singing that song is weird.

Glee has to pair everyone up. Marshall and new guy. Mason and jane. And now Madison and Roderick. Does anyone even care?

I am so not interested in this episode. It is completely pointless

ha, i clicked this thread w/o reading its title nor realizing what it's about. then it dawned on me that glee is on. well, i am not watching. watching glorious Spartacus instead. now THAT was really revolutionary!!!

Oh new kid playing the ukulele. Can't have Marshall end the series single now, can we. Oh a kiss. This was the quickest start of a relationship ever.

Break free wants to be. Good group number but it is a mess.

AGREED x 1000000 seriously you won't be missing anything by not watching this episode. Spent the first half hour half-watching and half-reading fic, only tuned back in now to see that nothing happened. Such a waste of an episode

Was Kurt on at all? If he isn't on and Mason, Madison, Jane or Roderick don't seem to be singing, I may skip this entirely. Wow, just when you think Glee can't get worse, it goes and does it. That takes purposeful skill, this sort of thing can't happen without trying.

I started to watch but stop less than 30 minutes in. The main reason I was watching no Blaine,but even without Blaine it is pretty awful.

Cool kids is another boring song. Choreography sucked.

Best part of the episode:  that Chris didn't have to be part of that mess.

It was terrible.  Myron was horrible.  spencer finding a boyfriend happened in two scenes.

Why any network would give Ryan another series is unfathomable.

Sorry for not being here. I was invited to go out drinking with some coworkers and just got home. Looks like I made the right choice going by everyone's reactions. Was Kurt in this episode at all?

Alright, so I watched as much as I could stomach (with judicious use of the FF button). My evening was far better spent drinking some excellent wine and eating a perfectly medium rare duck breast.

The Myron kid was obnoxious and I'd happily drown him in a well myself. Spencer annoys me, but I'm always happy to see a boy get his man. The rest... I'm just trying to ignore it.

Three more weeks and we're done with this crap.
