"But I’ve done three years now, so I have another four to go – I literally cannot get out of it. It’s a great show, it provided me with my big break, but what can I do? Urrrgh.”
Matt Morrison doesn't sound like a happy camper in that interview (where did you get it by the way?). Not that I can blame him, seeing how the Glee writers had turned him from inspirational teacher to insensitive and irresponsible idiot so often on the show (e.g. his use of the Glee club to put on a Rocky Horror Show for the sole purpose of stealing Emma from Carl, his blatant display of favoritism when it came to choosing singers in competitions, his abandonment of the Glee kids to pursue his own dreams in New York, and basically everything in 'The Spanish Teacher' episode). Who would want to be stuck in a show where your character just... sucks so badly?
Quite a few of us had expressed a desire to see Chris leave the train wreck that Glee is becoming to carry out his own projects, but I basically want whatever Chris wants. I think Chris had once said that working with the Glee crew had become such a big part of his life that he wouldn't wish for it to stop, and that he gets his ideas for stories when he's behind the scenes.
Chris staying on Glee
The Pros:
- Chris gets to hang out with his friends.
- There will be at least 22 episodes each year where we get to see Chris act the hell out of every one of his scenes, and occasionally sing.
- It keeps Chris prominent in the entertainment circles, because Glee is a much talked about show, even when said show is rife with problems such as bad writers and bad actors.
- It is interesting to watch the future stories of Kurt Hummel, our beloved fictional character.
The Cons:
- The risk of typecasting.
- Glee takes up too much time from Chris; time that could be better used to promote his own projects.
- Chris getting pestered with questions about Darren or Klaine by annoying interviewers.
- Scary fans and/or haters who made Chris genuinely fear for his own safety.

I think you forgot the biggest pro of all, delight. Glee provides Chris a very good and very steady pay check. It was reported that he was maknig $45,000 per episode in season two. I would think that would have increased for season three thanks to the Golden Globe win and the second Emmy nomination. Even if he's not completely happy and fulfilled on the show, he is smart to stick it out to earn the money that he can (at least until he knows the reception of stuff like SBL and his book) because he can use the money he makes now to perhaps fund other projects, or to live off of when he can't find work.
I've said this before, but we need to remember that Chris isn't exactly a household name. A lot of people (even glee fans who watch the show each week) probably don't know his name--just know that he is the gay kid on Glee. A lot of people, even many of his fans, probably know very little about SBL or LOS.
While I agree that Glee is a trainwreck now, I am glad that Chris has an opportunity to keep his face on the TV, keep getting invited to industry parties where he is hopefully mixing and mingling with the right people, and most of all, making damn good money that will hopefully help him be able to pursue whatever he wants in the future.

Another pro you forgot to mention (used to be a big pro):
- if CC stays on the show we will get to hear him sing a word or two once in a blue moon. but it beats not singing at all if he's not on glee.
The Matt Morison interview comes from here

Did anyone notice that tweets between Grant and Michael Hitchcock today?
Grant tweeted to complain about the LAme L.A. traffic.
Michael tweeted that he hoped Grant wasn't texting and driving.
Grant tweeted back that he was just tweeting in dead stopped traffic.
Grant wins the bonehead move for tweeting in his car (even if it was stuck at traffic) eight days after Glee addressed the issue.

I don't see Glee beyond season 5 or being less optimistic season 4.

It depends on how successful that revolutionary idea is...I'm not optimistic.

OK - so it looks like he is flicking a lighter - ready to burn him down?
So I'm gonna have a few snickers while on hiatus

OMG BB HAS FINALLY MADE IT!!
When National Enquirer makes up shit about you, you are officially big time. (Or on a really trashy soap opera. Either way.)

The plan they have for Season 4
And the tabloid story is so fake it's funny. Though I hope that doesn't mean Chris starts being even more cautious around his co-stars. But it's the National Enquirer, which is known for being trashy...We can always look at this like "he's made it!"
It's an occupational hazard but I don't like it much...

I think the face is saying, "Yeah, let's not talk about the things that are threatening our relationship. You just sing, honey." I think he's more annoyed than bored or angry.

I never noticed that gesture until now and probably he was really annoyed.

WHAT?! This must be a stupid rumour by a sensationalist tabloid ¬¬ he's not a homewrecker, NOT ; however as Kim has said, this has proved he's a big name in the showbiz

Fast forward is your friend when it comes to Blaine.
I do think that's one of my favorite gifs though. I just love the attitude pouring off Chris in it.
