Love how Will is leading the way and clearing the path for Chris. And Chris trying to be unobtrusive. I'm sure the people sitting around them got quite a thrill having his close by.

Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 9
Is this just an incredibly s*itty photo, or is his hair a little bit tightly cropped now?
And yes fantastica, without that thigh-grab (=security blanket) I would have even guessed this is not Chris. But that combo with a man that looks like Will does make it him. ;D

Chris has always been a bit of a klutz, and I always felt the thigh grabbing is more to keep his arms from knocking something over.

it's how I knew it is definitely Chris in that pic too.fantastica wrote:LOL Chris and his signature "thigh-grabbing" hand posture when walking .
And just in case anyone was wondering: those pictures were indeed from when he went to 'Finding Neverland', as I recognize the interior of the theatre (the big lights/windows on the side) from other pics I've seen of 'Finding Neverland' fans.

Chris Colfer
Chris Colfer is funny, charming and has a great voice. He proved that on Glee, playing Kurt Hummel. What people may not have known was that he is a writer as well. He wrote an episode for the show in the final season. To add to his writing credentials, he wrote and starred in Struck by Lightning. He also wrote the New York Times bestseller The Land of Stories. Let’s see, a guy with boyish good looks, a super singing voice, played Kurt Hummel on one of my favorite TV shows and has best-selling books will definitely get my vote

Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 9
I know I sounds like a crazy fangirl from twitter or tumblr, but how does he do it to look like a model without trying?
Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 9
someone is born w/ model look. that's why models are models, not farmers or plumbers.
on the other hand, i once met a VERY handsome plumber. too bad he was only interested in my toilet. in other words he was a very professional plumber, and i honestly felt a bit dirty thinking about seducing someone who just messed w sewage. But honestly, he was REALLY handsome, and nice.
so, not every model-looking guy ends up being a model, but models are models because they look like models. does that make sense?

These are really rare pictures of Chris. He hardly ever goes to places where there are paparazzi around...and what it looks like two as well.
In general I would find it terrible to have one following you and one coming at you, but I guess this tactic is not that uncommon.

Yes, this last photo really pounds home how intrusive the paparazzi can get. I think Chris said once that he can't go out without being recognized since back in 2009 when he was all of 19 and it's been like that for six years and going now. All this from his first professional gig EVER; I still scratch my head trying to think of someone comparable to Chris as far as his show biz experience/entrance.

you can see from his slightly hunched shoulders that he was uncomfortable, like he wanted to be smaller and invisible to the paps.
btw, i thought LA is very hot this time of the year, but chris was in sweaters.
I am in southeast of US now and i am wearing tank tops and shorts. my cat is even better - he's naked.

From the picture it looks very cold. It's not just Chris but the photographer is also in thick layers. is it that cold there? According to the scientist (according to some media outlet) Cali only has 1 year of water left. i guess all the hollywood bigshots will have to shut down their previous swimming pool soon, especially the outdoor ones. didn't chris buy a house w/a big swimming pool in the yard? Well, he can always fill it up w/ sand and grow a cactus garden in it.

Read up on Nestle Corp. and other water bottler companies. They are buying up water to bottle for major profits and helping to leave California dry. They are attempting to do the same here in Oregon. Hopefully, they'll fail.

It's not getting dry - yet. But this past season during our 'rainy' season we saw only 20% of what we normally get. We had far too many sunny days during the winter. The snow pack on Mount Hood is the lowest it's been since the 90s at this time of year. The ski season was a wash. With climate change we're only seeing the beginning of problems.

^ Lovely article. I have to admit that I haven't sought such a deep meaning in the 'Struck by Lightning' movie until I read this article.
Mikendra McCoy... She is Chris's speech and debate teacher who was responsible for that 'If you own who you are, no one can use it against you' line that really left a mark in Chris, isn't she? I'm glad she has been beside Chris in such crucial moments of his life.

(ccn)Chris is now signed to british talent management Hamilton Hodell [source]
I'm not sure how this works, but maybe Chris needs a British agent because of the Noel picture (and hopefully future projects).
thanks to metaldragoness31Looks like Chris is going to be in good company at Hamilton Hodell since they also manage Hayley Atwell, Robert Carlyle, Tilda Swinton, Tracey Ulman, Ben Wishaw, Tom Hiddleston, Rupert Grint, America Ferrera, Stephen Fry, Anjelica Huston, Hugh Laurie, Erza Miller, Emma Thompson, Olivia Wilde and more!

^ Good news! chris will enjoy working in Britain and I'd love to see him in more British productions, and maybe some BBC series.

That's an impressive group to be associated with. I wonder if this has been a part of the Noël hold up? I hope this will open up some more international type exposure and opportunities for him .

Shows how serious Chris is about his acting career, which I for one am thrilled about, I was worried he might leave acting and concentrate on his writing full time.
