Classic movie actors
Do you think Chris could play an actor from the golden age of movies. Like from the 1920's to the 1950's? If so, who do you think he could play?

No, You did not missed a rumor. I was just wondering. James Dean is a good choose. I think he would be great at playing Cary Grant,

Fingers crossed for the biopic. That would be so epic, especially because there is a James Dean movie in the works... Hence, my suggestionFanofChrisC&MaxA1 wrote:I hope someday it will happen, :Lottie2303 wrote:And here I was hoping

Re: Classic movie actors
I'm going to have to go with James Dean.
Perhaps through HEAVY use of makeup, he can play Lon Chaney Sr. He looks nothing like him, but to see him playing the man of a thousand faces would be beyond awesome.

It could be Oscar gold if done right!
Oooo....Orson Welles! Again, looks nothing like him at all! But it's so delicious to think about!
But he looks more like James Dean, so this is the obvious choice.

Agree he does look more like James Dean then anyone else. I only seen a few of Orson Wells films, plus his guest appearance on I Love Lucy.

Re: Classic movie actors
He acts like a mini-Orson Welles type, though.

Re: Classic movie actors
Although he doesn't really look like him, I sometimes imagine Chris as playing James Stewart.
James Stewart also was a very expressive and at the same time subtle actor, with the ability to cry and be vulnerable, even be awkward and/or mean, without losing any of his strong, sympathetic presence, if you know what I mean.
You always wanted to root for the characters James Stewart played, and he could put a whole bucket full of different and conflicting emotions into just one look, just like Chris can.

Agreed! And he does have the body type....long and lanky. The earnest quality is there, also.Glorfindel wrote:Although he doesn't really look like him, I sometimes imagine Chris as playing James Stewart.

Re: Classic movie actors
I would have said this back when Chris was short and looked like a freckled, little kid but....Mickey Rooney.
