I am going to be a wreck through the episode if I decide to watch it.... crycry

I don't know if anyone feels similarly I feel weird but while I really cried the first week after it happened and cried during Lea's speech (and now I am crying because Ive just listenened the This Is not the End you were talking about) , I still hasn't process the fact Cory is gone, it's weird but sometimes I am not even realizing it..... When you lost your family member, it's terrible terrible lost but you are realizing it because you are missing them, you have to learn to live your life without them... But with celebrity... while I always loved Cory, he was probaly the first castmember I noticed in the old videos of the cast, he was there always with his big smile, filming everything, chearing for everyone, he was probably the most likeable and sweetheat castmember to me, Finn is my third favorite character and love Cory's voice I've never follow him very closely outside of the show like I do with Chris. I didn't spend hours on internet talking about him so basically nothing has changed in my life... and I am still somehow expecting that when I will start watching the new season he will be there with his beautiful smile and everything....

Few days ago I saw gif set of Glee cast and their partners and Monchele was there and someone comented it's beautiful but sad and really had to think for a couple of seconds why it's sad until I realized the tragic fact again... crycry

I don't know what is wrong with me, its probably not a normal reaction, it's the first time when died a celebrity who I would care about the way as I did and still do about Cory.... I am not sure where the time when I see Cory's picture and immediately realize we won't see him anymore come, maybe with the memorial episode.. and like I said I'll wreck when I'll truly process the fact and what it means...

^That's not a weird reaction at all. All we have of Cory are pictures, his scenes and his interviews. He is not 'substantial' in our lives.
I also expect a new Cory picture to pop up at any moment, it just takes getting used to, I guess. When Finn dies will probably the point of realisation for many that they're both gone forever.

This song is perfect to put it now. I sincerely hope they do Smile

And probably as weeks are going, I feel less sad that a month ago. However, I cried when Lea did her speech, and is still hard for me to listen to DSB.

I didn't even know he sang this song. This would be perfect for the closing moments of the tribute episode.

Agree, the speech was beautiful and I'm glad it was Jane said those words. But still I believe it was only done in purpose to get more media attention.

Yes, Jane's speech is indeed touching and beautiful.

Is this the Cory tribute in the Emmys that had generated so much disgruntlement and bad press?

It was a beautiful speech, but I stand by my earlier opinion that it should not have happened in the first place.

It's not the speech itself that is gathering back press. It's that an actor, Cory, merited a special tribute on the Emmys when other actors with longer/large bodies of work within the TV industry were overlooked for said special tribute.

The bruhaha is over, regardless, but it was unfortunate that it had to happen.

A group in France did a flash mob to Keep Holding On in Memory of Cory. It's pretty cool.

P.S. Sometime in the next week or so, I'm going to move this thread over to the Gathering Place on the Community Board. I wanted to keep it here until after the Tribute episode aired, but now I think it's time to move it to the Gathering Place.
