Remembering Cory

This is devastating.  

Cory just died.

Poor Lea, and his family and friends.

I can't believe this has happened.   

I'm in shock. He was one of my favourite actors alongside Chris and he seemed like such a sweet lovely guy.

Lea must be devastated. This is just awful.

I am unbelievably sad to hear this. Just dumbfounded.

I hope they do too Agree this is just unbelievable.

I hope Lea and the rest of the cast isn't finding out through media. But maybe Chris won't if his mum already knew.

 



There are numerous tweets, but I don't like it that most of them will find out about it via media.

I hope Lea is with friends or family right now.

If it is okay, and no-one minds I might post the other tweets, unless anyone finds it upsetting then I won't.

Oh no! I thought he was getting better or at least sorting things out...that is what gets me.

Yes, what behind the scenes interview? Was he returning to shoot an interview?

Not sure but think so. Someone posted about it in this forum .FoxSpeicalOps tweeted about it and a member of this from posted the tweet. I could be wrong and It was not  going to be  Behind The Scenes but  an interview about Glee.

I just heard the news of Cory's death.

It saddens me greatly. I have a great fondness for Cory, even if I'm not the biggest fan. I can't imagine how his family, Lea, Chris and the rest of the Glee cast are feeling right now.

I posted that tweet in the Spoiler thread. Chris, Lea, Cory and Darren were supposed to shoot something Finchlel and Klaine related tomorrow.

I just woke up to this and thought it was a hoax at first. Then I saw all the tweets and read there had already been a press conference from the Canadian police... how incredibly awful. It's unbelievable. He was so young and looked so healthy on his last photos...

This whole tweet sounds so horribly wrong now.

OMFG!!!!! Unbelievable! I woke up in the middle of the night and now this. I can never go back to sleep!

May be they will kill Finn in an accident. I totally see them doing it.

Finchel is no more. Even if they get another actor to play Finn, it would never be the same. Glee would never be the same.

It's tragic that he has passed away alone, without friends or family with him. No one suspected anything like this could happen. He's too young to have his life truncated like that.

They couldn't possibly recast Finn--not without having the character take a long trip (like several seasons). If they are lucky, they will have cut footage that they can use to help tie up his storyline.

I'm not sure how Glee can survive this. I was really worried about how they'd deal with his ongoing addiction problem this season (because to my eye, rehab did not get him clean--he lost a lot of weight immediately after getting out and has been decked out in layers and sweaters even in the hottest weather). I didn't think that he would pass away now, so suddenly, though.

Even though I don't like Finn, Cory and his character are a lynchpin for the show. This is going to require major, major rewriting and reorienting.

Not that the future of Glee is actually IMPORTANT in the scheme of things. Not now.

Wow, I was never really a fan of Finn on Glee per say, but Cory always came off as a genuinely good guy. Only a year older than me, such a shame to die so young when he had so much promise for a bright future. I hope his family, friends and Lea are able to find peace sometime in the near future. Such a tragic loss.  

I just keep thinking all these actors that knew Cory from the beginning, did tours with him and went through the Glee production hurricane. This group of people have spent so much time together that I find it very hard for them to just "pick up" where they left on May.

For me, when someone dies, it's of course tragic and awful especially at a young age, but the pain that remain with the family and friends is the worst. There is a huge void that is suddenly created in their lives...and most of Cory's friends and collegues are young and might not have faced a sudden death in their lives yet.

It's going to be a tough weeks ahead for a lot of people: in personal AND professional field.

Oh my God! No words! This is just devastating.

I can't sleep. This is literally keeping me up.

It's a few more hours yet before my usual bed time, but something tells me it's going to be an uneasy one for me tonight.

If we are already so troubled, as distant fans who only got to know Cory through his role on Glee, then it must be a hundred times worse for the people who knew Cory personally. His friends and family are probably stricken with guilt and heartache for not picking up on the signs that he was slipping away, that he would be at risk again. Of course, there is still no confirmation of the cause of death, but there isn't that many causes of death for an apparently healthy 31 year old young man.

I don't follow Cory's life story that closely; but from what little I knew, I admired him. He had a rough early start to life. He fought with his demons bravely. Glee was meant to be a blessing that would grant him more opportunities to succeed in the future, and allow him to leave all that behind him. Now we would never know.
