Not to be a downer, but it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be acting in them. He could go behind the scenes and just be a scriptwriter/producer. Of course I want him to continue acting because he has a special gift for it, but Chris may not want to.

I hear you, however BOTH the movies he's written (Struck by Lightning and the "asylum" movie" have roles written by Chris for himself.  IN the interview Chris specifically  mentioned  as far as writing for movies that he loved knowing the motivation of the characters he's playing (of course he's the screen writer), so I take "many movies" as writing movies that he can star or act in.  

He specifcally also said there is a biopic he's hoping to be cast in.    So based on that,  I don't think he has any immediate plans to leave acting after Glee is over.

I love New York. I was there in 1997 (gosh, a lifetime ago) and felt strangely at home, as if I had lived there for many years. I would love to come back again, and especially for Chris of course!

They definitely picked a not-so-hot photo of him. why can't these guy pick a "hot" artistic photos they took of him in those foreign magazines? that sweater makes him look a bit like Mr. Rogers in that photo - nothing wrong, but it's a damn "hot" list.

And once again, Darren beat him at #2.  but at least he didn't win. Matt Bomer did and he's actually gay, so I don't mind. I didnt think the picture they used was bad. They could've used him infamous season 2 promo picture.

it's not a bad picture. it just doesn't spell "hot" when he's wearing so many layers.

actually before Glee most people (especially the hollywood studio type of people) would never imagine chris colfer being considered "hot". certainly he looked like a milk-maid when he just started but w/o these polls and the sheer size of his mostly female fans most TPTB will never considered him a magnet for young women.

Even though I have to admit for me personally hot is not the first word on my mind when I look at him (although there have been more and more exceptions lately), I love Chris's looks, love looking at his pictures, but I still see him more as beautiful young man who somehow is miraculously still able to look on some pictures as adorable child, I am really happy for him.
Chris really looks better and better (even though I think he could gain some weight) with time, I am really curious what he will look like whe he is around thirty maybe.

I also must admit while I love Chris AND think he is extremely good looking nowadays, I don’t consider him as hot. But I rarely have that train of thought with any celebrity. I certainly believe Chris deserves the spot, especially on a “Gay Top 100” list.

 

Ironically I am a bit confused why so many heterosexual men are on the list. Shouldn’t they try to push for more exposure for fellow gay singer/actor/entertainer? As someone said, at least a gay man won. I am not surprised about Darren’s placement. Different tastes and all.  Darren and Chris are so different looking and not direct competition anyway. I can handle Chris being a place behind him .

Even mainstream media have commented positively about Chris's looks and consider him hot.

These gay websites publications do not speak for everyone.

They don't support Chris, and I'm sure Chris couldn't give a flying f*ck what their little five per cent think.

Chris has made fun of his looks for a long time, and now he seems more comfortable in his skin. That is why I don't like criticism about his looks, it makes me uncomfortable.

It's all in the eyes of beholders. Everyone has completely different taste and it is how it should be, it would be sooo boring if everyone has the same opinion.. I am happy that more and more people on tumblr and everywhere notice Chris's looks in positive way but that does not mean everyone has to. I have no problem with people not considering Chris great looking as soon they doesn't offend him and makes fun of him.

I was commenting on those idiots that don't consider Chris is the right kind of gay, and insult his looks or don't mention them on these gay websites such as The Backlot and publications or say that Chris is Kurt.

Chris is a part of their community and that is what makes me uncomfortable, when still being gay is wrong in a lot of societies and you have ones on the internet that are gay don't consider Chris is good enough to be a part of their community because in their eyes he isn't masculine enough or some beef cake.

Everyone can have their opinion here, it don't worry me.

I have no idea what the attraction is, it will always be a mystery to me, and I am the kind of person that find conventional men like Brad Pitt hot.

So, with Darren what am I meant to be looking for?

Darren has rabid fans that is it. And gay men that don't want Chris to win because to them he isn't the right kind of gay, it has nothing to do with hotness, believe me.

Chris's fans hate The Backlot and don't care anymore what they think.

I think Glee does not do Darren's looks any justice, at least I find Blaine's looks rather ugly with his gell helmet, bowties, short pants... but I think Darren as himself looks good although I personally don't find him that exceptionally good looking as many people seem to. TheBacklot and Co are alienating a very powerful ally for the gay community. I don't believe Chris doesn't know and judge it. Chris is already the poster child how a homosexual could and should be treated and be successful without hiding himself. I really don't get why he didn't receive more support just by being brave and honest.

Because they promote and praise what Darren does but don't for Chris anymore. Same for other straight celeb's that they promote.

It is like they dismiss him.

Some suspect this comes from self hate on their side because of Kurt makes them see that is what they are and because they weren't brave enough to come out sooner like Chris.

It would enrage me when they called Chris girlie, when he isn't he is a dork, not effeminate, he is not Kurt, he is not playing himself as these moron's said and still say it.

Chris doesn't need them anyway.

I'm a Chris fan and I don't hate The Backlot. They are npot perfect but they are way better than Out magazine. Their decription for Chris and Kurt is very nice unlike that awful BS Out wrote.



Most articles they write about Chris and the interviews they did with him in the past were positive. The woman who writes the Glee recaps adores him. There is some negativity of course but it's mostly from the readers.
