Despite the laments and screams of "fake", "PR", "creepy stalkerish" etc. from the CrissColfers, this twitter person seems legit, because his friend indeed is a cousin of Will, and Will and he went to the same high school.
To me it looks that he didn't know it was not confirmed yet, nor that he purposely meant to broadcast a celebrity's personal life to the world. He was just freaking out over knowing someone who's dating a celebrity to a few friends on twitter. So I'll give this person some slack here.
BTW: his replies after he accidentally lit a match in a gasoline factory (figuratively speaking) are quite funny.

It seems it was an honest mistake, not something malicious, like paparazzi stalking Chris and finding out. I'm glad for that. I don't think Chris is mad or upset about it: he has never really hidden him dating Will after the SAG awards.

Someone on tumblr explained it. The guy mentioned Kurt Hummel in his tweet. If you put "Kurt Hummel" in the search box on twitter, all tweets with that word in it pop up.

I also believe it was a sincere mistake. Probably being overexcited and totally not getting the craziness of the Glee fandom. Imagine a close family member suddenly dates someone famous… My cousins would turn so arrogant.

Also, there is no denial Will and Chris are dating. Chris makes absolutely no secret he is in a relationship. He just doesn’t flaunt it or makes an official statement (why should he?). But there is no denial he has a boyfriend.

I saw this somewhere else, and at first I felt upset because I thought this person was leaking out information without asking for permission to do it. But having second thoughts, this person isn't from the fandom, so he innocently revealed this because by one side he was surprised Will is dating "Kurt Hummel", and second, he had no idea that haven't been officially said they're dating.

But as someone else said, this was bound to happen. I'm sorry, but Chris himself has exposed step by step his relationship with Will, the only thing is he hasn't said officially "he's my boyfriend".

Anyone who doesn’t believe Chris is in a relationship, is delusional. I am sorry, but Chris made it very, very clear. As he once said in an interview, his boyfriend is no secret but he is not comfortable to release any information. That is totally fair game and a very healthy perspective for a famous person.

He is under no obligation to make some official proclamation about it.

The fact that Chris has him in his inner circle, and doesn't hide it should be enough of a confirmation that they are together. Chris did this on his terms, and letting Will be seen and photographed with him in public was done on his terms (and you know that Chris was deliberate in his actions since the Disneyland pictures--it wasn't until after that that people realized Will was there at Halloween, and Naya's party, so there were months of private/low key stuff before it was made public). Chris (and Will) handled this masterfully. He owns nothing of his private life to his fans, but what he has thankfully given us he has mostly given on his terms, and he managed to deal with the unexpected (like people finding Will's name) in a gracious way (by not denying or confirming but giving us more relaxed pics like the one at Coachella). I'm really glad for that.

Those who want to deny Chris his own agency in his private life, who call him a liar or a bad friend, who think he would hide his relationship (with Darren) by using other people to 'beard' for them, who give derogatory names to Will and Mia and are all in a huff about supposed scandallous behavior of them when there is very little to none, who call anyone who associates with Chris and Will liars or trolls, who accuse other fandoms of stalking and not respecting Chris' privace after pestering Chris themselves about CrissColfer for 3 freaking years:

I couldn't agree more. The mentality of expecting the celebrities you are a fan of to behave or have relationships according to your personal fantasies is, at best, ridiculous.

I'm okay with CrissColfer shippers for harbouring their fantasy, as long as they know that it's a fantasy and every delusion they spout remains strictly in their corner of tumblr. Indulge in RPFs. Gush over Chris and Darren manips. Whatever. The problem is that they don't remain in their little corner and stay there. No, they come out and try and spread CrissColfer like it's some kind of religion, and try to intimidate those who don't share their beliefs, or bully anyone who tries to threaten their belief. Jeez. I agree, Marie. The way these fans harass Chris, Will, Mia, and to a much much lesser extent Darren. These fans harass others associated with them (i.e. bombarding Patty Duke with tweets about them when in reality she was probably only on set for a day or two).

The fan pandering regarding Klaine from RIB doesn't help anything because it bleeds into their delusions and fantasies. It blurs the lines. It allows them to use Klaine stuff to fit into their "reality." They can turn anything to fit into their delusions: I saw one post on tumblr that said Darren's tour colors are pink, yellow, and blue because pink is Darren's favorite color, blue is Chris' favorite color, and yellow is the color of the lightning bolt that brought them together).

I still hope that at some point that we get clear and solid PDA from Chris and Will so that the Criss Colfer idiots can't say it was PR anymore.

If they just kept their idiocy to Tumblr and let everyone else live their lives it would be fine. But they cross the lines so often it is highly inappropriate, and disrespectful. I really wish RIB would keep Klaine apart permanently because I don't think Klaine does any good for either Chris or Darren anymore.
