Everything he touches turns to gold! Anything to do with him sells out quickly. Glee tours, book tours, film festivals....

Off-topic for everyone here except for maybe ColferInspired who lives in Australia...
There's a closing down sale happening at this DVD rental place called 'Family Videoland' at 885 High Street, Thornbury, Victoria. When I last visited it yesterday, there are two 'Struck By Lightning' ex-rental DVDs on the shelves, for sale at AUD$5 each.
(If I hadn't already gotten my own Blu-ray copy of SBL, I would've bought the DVD for sure. $5 is very cheap, compared to the $20 it costs if you buy it new)

Thank you for that.
I already have the DVD that I bought the day it come out. I got it from JB-Hifi.
I am after the blu-ray.
Where did you get your blu-ray from?

^ I should've known that a big fan of Chris like you would have bought the SBL DVD the moment it's available
I bought SBL Blu-Ray from JB-Hifi as well. It was out the same time the DVD was released. As far as I could tell, there's no difference between the DVD and the Blu-Ray in terms of content. I was hoping for something as simple as subtitles, but... no such luck.

That's odd. Most DVDs in general come with subtitles, at least in English. Some will come with other languages as well.

I bought the DVD at JB-Hifi in Northland. There were only two left after I bought mine, the guy that worked told me it was almost sold out.
I did see the DVD in the top biggest sellers at number nine in Sanity somewhere else.
I forgot to ask where it was when in the charts when it first came out.

I wonder if it's available on On Demand anymore? It would make sense that it would be under the "Tribeca" or "Same Day As DVD" categories.

This means there will be a Britain cinema release after all!!! (Now all I need is a Dutch release, sigh.)

Hope there is a Dutch release soon.
But is wonderful that this movie is starting to gather momentum.
And every time I go in the Chris Colfer tag on tumblr I see more and more people that decided to give this film ago as it is on Netflix and rave about it, how much they loved it, how good it was.
These are people that have never watched Glee and know hardly anything about Chris.

Re: Struck by Lightning Main thread
Now the question is: will Chris stay in Britain/Europe between his signing in Kent on the 16th and the showing of SBL on the 28th?

If I were him I would definitely stay. Unless you tell me he has some obligations in LA between those days.
When's he going to France?
Re: Struck by Lightning Main thread
^The SBL premiere in Paris will be on the 12th of June (and there will be another SBL showing the next day I think?), book signing in Paris on the 15th, and book signing in Kent (GBR) on the 16th.

Re: Struck by Lightning Main thread
EDI film festival isn't that big and usually the stars do not come along. So, I doubt that Chris will be there.
But he should totally visit Edinburgh. The city itself is so beautiful and it is Harry Potter landside. I lived just 10 minutes away from the original inspiration for Hogwarts and discovered several HP names at the very famous graveyard. Chris would have a blast.

You know what's frustrating? Being on business trip in Paris on the 10th and the 11th but having to then go to Caen on the 12th...Do you see the tears rolling down my cheeks? And on the 15th, I have stupid family reunion in the South of France (now, to be honest, this reunion will be all kinds of awsome and sounds like a 3-day long giant party, but still I might feel a pang of regret). Can you believe it, I will miss Chris TWICE in the same week

Thanks for this Marie. So it means Chris is having a week and a half of holidays. I mean, I bet being in Europe will be fantanstic for him, but he'll be working.
@Coxfire, sorry to hear that. But isn't a way to not go to the family reunion? Will they mad if you don't assist?
