Maybe Chris can get the ball rolling? Seeing as he's conversing with Pixar at the moment....

Pixar makes great movies. TLoS would be in good hands with them (and maybe Chris can do multiple voices!).

This is so cute.
And these are kids who (should) not watch Glee, so they only know Chris as te author of one of their favorite books!

Re: The Land of Stories 2 : Book Tour 2013
Spence was there.
Last year at the book signing his mum took pics of them together and she said he doesn't like looking directly into the camera. And that doesn't seem to have changed.
This is what his mother said:
Spence was very shy this time around for some reason, but managed to still ask Chris if he had any tattoos or “weird scars” - and to demand that Chris not call me “honey,” only him!
This is Spence from last year:

Re: The Land of Stories 2 : Book Tour 2013
So basically what happened to me yesterday at the TLOS2 signing
My friend and I got there about two hours before and somehow a line hadn’t started forming yet. The people who worked at the store told us we could start it and we got very excited but decided to let one girl be in front of us so we could take more pictures of him as he came in. The store workers talked to us for a while and told us he was visiting family (though we didn’t realize until after we walked out that his mom and sister were there too, we were just so focused on Chris we didn’t realize!) and they told us he was signing a lot of books for the store beforehand. They also said they got an order from like 59 books in Italy (from the same person) to be signed by him too! At some point some news reporters came in and behind the curtain to the area he was at but by the time we got to the Writer’s Room, where they were holding the signing, they were gone. They let us in on time into the room but Chris didn’t come in for about ten minutes which were the most suspenseful ten minutes of my life!
Chris came in and I was trying so hard not to squeal and I managed to wave to him and say “hi!” and he said “hi!” back and waved this cute little wave! I managed to grab a few pictures before and after but when I went up to him it was the best part of all. He asked me how I was doing and thanked me for coming out tonight and I was like “of course!” but managed to quickly pipe in how he is such a huge inspiration to me and that I aspire to be an author too some day. And he said (I will never forget this) “Oh that’s great, sweetie! Be sure to send me a copy of your first book!” and I was like “Of course I will!” And then I told him to have a good time in the area and thanked him again and then went off to take pictures but I was like flailing inside the whole time! I had been so nervous but he just really puts people at ease and makes them feel really good! He’s so sweet and gorgeous and amazing and I will never forget this day!

I found this and tumblr, love reading about kids liking TLoS
Cute story time!
I was talking to some of my cousins and their kids on Skype, and I asked what the kids wanted to be for Halloween (big holiday in my family, we plan things to do with it months in advance) and little Jack pipes up “I wanna be Froggy!”
I immediately think of TLOS but I didn’t think he’d read it so I say, “You want to be a frog JJ?”
"NO! Froggy is a prince and he helps Alex and Connor and I want to be him and then Aunty Linnie says that Mimi and Nick can be Alex and Connor and we’re gonna look awesome and go trick-or-treating together!"
So yeah apparently my cousins actually listened to me and read TLOS to their kids, and now the kids are hopelessly in love with it. I showed Jack a few pictures of Chris and he went really quiet and then went “He’s the most beautiful boy I’ve ever seen, can I marry him when I’m a grown up?”
I promised him if Chris does another book signing in England I’ll take him and the twins to it, and with that promise I became known as “The coolest most awesomest nicest person ever”
So yeah, Chris definitely has some young fans.
(A little background- Jack is 6 and the son of my cousin Rachel, who is Linnie’s older sister, and Mimi and Nick are Linnie’s twin 3 year olds. Jack’s old enough to understand the storyline but Mimi and Nick are a little young for it, they just like the pictures in the book and know a very simplified version of the story)

Love that too. It proves that Chris is loved by boys and girls from any age. I foresee lots of marriage proposals for this boy in the future (and present)ColdFlame96 wrote:The bolded quote is beyond adorable. I'm squeeing like a 12 year old at a Justin Bieber concert. I hope Chris does get to do another European book tour.
