Is it just me, or does the close up of Kurt reveal has a little silver skull and cross bones hanging from the red portion of his gloves? How holiday oriented of him. I actually did listen to the song, which normally I avoid, but I needed some Chris singing, a new song has been so long. Beautiful.

I actually like Darren on the new song, I think that these kind of songs suit him. Chris sounds great as well, even though I already read comment about him ruining that song.

I love the song but Darren did sound different at the beginning for some reason. But I think this will be one of my favourite Klaine duets.

Though there are some Klainers that a dislusional that they are getting back together.

I actually feel sorry for them, but they can have their little bit of happiness for now.

I feel sorry for Chris having to ice skate and not being a good skater.

Kurt and Blaine - White Christmas
I think it's recorded during the filming last night, so they probably are singing and skating. Chris sounds amazing.

When we found out that Klaine would be doing 'White Christmas' I joked on the Kurt spoiler thread over on GF that they better not use the Drifters' version of the song, and that is exactly what they did!
But I like the song. Chris sounds ahmaaaaazing!!!


As for the spoilers:
If we hadn't known about Kurt being interested in another guy in 4x11 I guess we would be panicking right now. Knowing that Klaine won't reunite romantically (yet) at Christmas, takes the sting of Burt taking Blaine to New York out a little bit.
I'm still not thrilled about the way it is happening (as I think a parent should never push an ex-bf, who cheated, on their child without proper warning), but this is Glee. And Burt did something similar before, when they threw a Carol and Finn moving in party back in season 1 without talking to Finn first.
All I hope is that the spoiler of a new guy for Kurt wasn't interpreted wrong, eg. that scene being in 4x8 or 4x09 instead of 4x11, and that Klaine won't get together at Christmas after all.

And NYADA?
Again: the way it will happen does not thrill me. Kurt begging for another audition, Carmen forcing him to sing at the Winter Showcase without preparation, the way the fandom will react to the unrealistic way of it all and Kurt being inserted in Rachel's glory concert. But..... Kurt will triumph in canon, and it will be a glorious triumph, with Rachel backing him up 100%.
And that is really, really great to know.

With both spoilers something will happen that I will not like: Blaine brought to NY by Burt, and the extra drama at Kurt's audition. If I wouldn't know the outcome of both storylines (Klaine not getting together again, and Kurt getting into NYADA) I'd be freaking out right now, along with most of the Kurtsies, I bet.
So I'm really glad there's no need for angsting and biting our nails till these episodes air.
It's clever how they are playing with our feelings, building up the suspense, cashing in on the 'will-they-or-won't-they' drama of Klaine and NYADA. But as usual, it seems that Glee is overplaying their hand, and these storylines will probably be written in an unrealistic, cringeworthy, bad way. At least we learned by now not to expect much from Glee.

I realized this morning (after getting the spoilers last night) that I still deeply feel about Kurt, and that's why these spoilers hit me the way they did. I want Kurt to stop suffering and being affected by other people's shit (in these cases: Blaine and Carmen) with only being able to react instead of act.
But I also realized this morning that I don't care a hoot for Glee anymore. The show is stupid, shallow, contrived, and giving all the wrong messages to kids out there. It has become a bad show, period. As a fan I mourn what Glee could still be, and I hurt for the cast members who I want to hear and see more of, but who are getting side-lined. But the real attachment to the show is gone.
Only Kurt is my Achilles heel. They can make me care and hurt through him. But at the moment I can take the pretty (Chris singing, on ice skates, Hummelberry) and accept that there will be good things for Kurt to come, even if the storylines leading up to those moments are angering me.
At least they haven't made Kurt planning to steal a baby, sleeping with a teacher, saying slurs without thinking, or getting hit by a truck (yet). Thankful for small favors, always look on the bright side, and all that jazz.

Klaine scenes that were filmed yesterday, will lead the impression that Klaine will be the couple on Christmas.
But as we already know it will not happen.
They did on purpose to get Klainers happy in the episode.
But this scenes are of goodbye.
As they are doing with Brittana, the next couple to have these scenes will be Klaine (with is the phone call and Christmas together).
Maybe Klaine/Brittana/Finchel will get more time just as friends than we imagine.

I think GleekOutBrasil confirmed also confirmed that the Klaine scenes are "real" and not dream sequences if I remember correctly ...

It looks to me like they are giving Klaine a full-season arc and this episode is going to be the conclusion of the first part - distance and painful break-up and then on to the point where they decide to be friends again. After this the writers will probably concentrate on their individual journeys for a while though "Klaine" will still be an underlying theme for both of them. I still think that they will be back together by the end of the season, but I do hope that the writers won't rush the reunion and that they will give Kurt the chance to date someone else in the meantime.

I have to admit I'm kind of curious just what kind of guy they're going to cast as his potential LI and what the character is going to be like. It's also going to be interesting to see the dynamic of the relationship Kurt might have with someone else (if they let him try it out, that is, which isn't a given considering that this is Glee).
