*grump* The Android app is buggy and doesn't let me skip directly. Gonna stick to voting on my laptop.

I was just about to praise Android app as quick and easy. Maybe it has to do with the system version. I have something like 4.4.2.Ranwing wrote:*grump* The Android app is buggy and doesn't let me skip directly. Gonna stick to voting on my laptop.
But one finger tactic has been enough so far.

Atleast, they did . But his co-stars say nothing...makes you think.

I don't think that is all that earth shattering, I'm sure people like Kevin, Lea, Jenna and Amber congratulated Chris in person.rainespeaks wrote:Atleast, they did . But his co-stars say nothing...makes you think.

Never said it was earth shattering. I said it makes you think. I'm pretty sure salutations were extended using social media in the past.

No, that's OK.
Let me clarify, it doesn't make *me * think or read much into it at all. It's none of the Glee cast first time to the rodeo.
Of course mileage and all.

i love it. it's like a slap in the face of glee producers - you want xyz to be the leading man? well we have our own leading man, and we will give him a nomination!
now that IS people's choice indeed.

Re: People's Choice Awards 2015 Voting Support Thread
Personally I've to confess I've mixed feelings related the PCA nomination, by one side I'm proud Chris made it, when his tv show and co-stars didn't, besides is like a big 'in your face' to RIB. But, by other side I think this nomination is precisely to tell RIB how important is Chris, and Kurt by extension, and as I said earlier, that's great; but thinking as a GA viewer, Kurt wasn't that prominence in season 5, yeah we had episodes only featured in NY, but still. So I foresee people commenting "Why is he nominated? There're other actors who deserve it more".
Re: People's Choice Awards 2015 Voting Support Thread
I for one am glad Chris got a PCA nomination . In my opinion it is well deserve . In my opinion no one from Glee with maybe the exception of Lea deserves it more.

Re: People's Choice Awards 2015 Voting Support Thread
Basically the PCA is a popularity contest, not who was on screen the most last season, or even who was the best actor.
The fact that Chris made it to the final nomination round of the PCA's despite him not being the most prominent featured actor on Glee is a testimony of his still very strongly excisiting/continuing popularity.
And I'd even argue that although in season 5 Kurt as an individual didn't get much focus he was still interacting with the other characters, even if only as a prop, and therefore visible enough to the GA.
Plus Kurt may not be treated as the main male lead on Glee anymore by RIB, but he's still very prominently featured in the promotion of the show, and lbr: Glee/Fox know darn well that Kurt is essential for Glee. He may not be carrying the show in the position as the main male lead (as in storylines and songs), but he is carrying the show nonetheless, by simply being in it.
What's arguable in this whole PCA debacle is that Glee currently isn't airing a new season on tv, like the shows of the other nominees, so right now Chris as Kurt isn't 'visible' for the GA. But the PCA award show is always held in January of the new year, and therefore the period you have to consider the nominees 'deserving' their nomination for spans the entire previous year, so not only the second half of that year (basically October-early December) when people can actually vote for the awards.
Glee was on tv for the first half of 2014 which would have given Chris/Kurt enough exposure to the GA to 'deserve' his nomination. Plus there was the TLoS3 book tour in the summer, with numerous interviews with Chris on popular tv talk shows, and that also counts when it comes to visibility to the GA and the general popularity of Chris.

Re: People's Choice Awards 2015 Voting Support Thread
Yesterday evening me and my family watched a Harry Potter movie, extended version.
I basically voted for Chris throughout the entire movie, so that's 2+ hours worth of votes.
Halfway through the movie we put potato chips and popcorn on the table, but I didn't want to get my hands greasy during my voting so I didn't eat anything.
So ladies and gents: voting for Chris for the PCA's is also an excellent way to take care of your health and weight.

These links are good to have at hand. Easier to just click at them.
Just voted whilst watching TV and accidentally voted for Ty Burrell. I can't remember was it 100 or more votes that you'd have to give Chris after such faux pas.

Re: People's Choice Awards 2015 Voting Support Thread
Hehe, I just eased my frustrations about Glee/Klaine spoilers by watching the newest episode of 'The Flash' while voting for Chris at the same time.
That was a nice workout/mantra. Who said anger doesn't achieve anything?
BTW, we can only vote for Chris at the PCA till the 4th of December, so go full speed for that last stretch.
Give the only parts of your body that can still move after a copious Thanksgiving meal (fwiw: I mean your fingers, lol) a little something to do for a while to burn off some of those calories.
And to inspire you more: have some beautiful photoshop from tumblr (link).

^Same! I like to vote on the mobile app during commercial breaks when I'm watching tv. It's so simple and really makes the time go by.
I just selfishly unselfishly want all the things for Chris!
