Re: People's Choice Awards 2015 Voting Support Thread
This has been a stressful holiday season, I am getting my bachelors in Nursing, and the Department of Health was at my hospital doing their inspection, so it is wonderful to get this good news. The fans have truly spoken, and in a write in ballot at that. It shows that Chris has the core fanbase that has stuck with this show, despite the shows unwillingness to deliver anything other than shallow dreck.
I am going to give Darren a pass, though, because it is Thursday, and likely a work day. Why tweet when you can congratulate someone in person. Same with the rest of the cast. It is easy to think negatively about someone who seems to have a genetic predisposition towards self promotion, but one would hope he has some grace to congratulate a cast mate.
I continue to love the Grant Gustin friendship with Chris. Glee, with all it's faults, brought a unique talent to the spotlight, and has likely garnered a few life long friendships (and connections). It is also a warm fuzzy knowing the fondness his previous director feels for him, so will encourage even more people to want to work with him. Plus, after he gets to shine as Noel Coward he will confirm his place. I doubt, with Hollywood's obsession with a specific look he'll make it big, but he will make it solid as a character actor/writer/possible director and have a good long, happy life. The best revenge.

I'll respond to this on Snark and Bark to keep the focus squarely on Chris' win

It's really good to see other companies Chris is attached to than Fox congratulating him.Ranwing wrote:Very smart of the film company to publicize this, along with Chris's connection to the Noel Coward film. The more PR, the better.
He's moving on, spreading his wings.
And it's also nice how Brian Dannelly still is so interested in Chris, after all: they filmed 'Struck By Lightning' in 2011, over 3 years ago.

I really love Ashley. Her relationship with Chris is just so cute.
I'm okay with Darren not tweeting him, because doing so would have caused extreme (sometimes extremely negative and/or fanatical) reactions from all sides of the fandom. On the lack of tweets/responses from his other Glee costars, I do feel that those really close to him would have sent him congratulations in other ways (texts or calls) so I'm not bothered by their silence on twitter.

Wow, is it good to be properly back now I have more than just 4GB's to keep me happy.
I saw about the win on Tumblr and was rejoicing.
This was the best news ever.
Congrats to the Chris and well done on the Colfer fandom for the voting.
A well deserved win.
And a middle finger to RIB and Fox.
That video was just adorable.
