Chris Colfer Tweets

It's funny, but it's turned out that this is the biggest "break" of Chris career as far as being offwork in front of the camera. Yes, I realize he did the "HIC" gig, but from all accounts that's a week of rehearsals and then filming on a Friday, to Chris used to Glee's grueling schedule that is almost child's play.

Since Glee finished filming back in March it's going to be more than 4 + months before Chris starts another larger project.

It helps Chris refresh his batteries no doubt, but I suspect that a person like Chris is probably at this point chomping on the bit to get going on something new. While I think he (and most of the rest of the cast) were beyond burned out on GLEE and ready to move on, it still has to be disorienting after a few weeks to realize he doesn't have GLEE anymore, good or bad.

I think by the nature of the business, most actors are very insecure (the next gig, how successful, how long will it last, will it succeed/will it flop) and I don't think Chris is immune to that. So the fact that he got this TCA nomination is a reminder to him he has fans out there who still support him, it seems silly (especially with all his acclaim) but actors need that validation at times.

While Chris has said he's focused on creating a body of work (as opposed to being a celebrity) I think he's ready to get the spotlight on new projects. Glee sidelined him pretty badly the last few years and even someone as balanced and confident as Chris has become had to wonder about why that happened. I mean he didn't even get a single solo his last season. I lump Matt Morrison and Naya Rivera on the same boat (and actually Cory before his tragic death.) as Glee actors who had to wonder " what did I do wrong?"
I still remember that from some accounts Cory was terrified about going to rehab and missing the last 2 episodes becuase he figure it would get him fired.

So yes, I think Chris appreciates this TCA nomination, even if it's just another "silly" award.

Just like the PCA write in nomination (and win!), I didnt really think it was possible, and it turned out being an amazing surprise.

And this time Glee is not only off air, but ended too. I also didn't see any real push, so Chris' fanbase is very well intact and expands beyond fandom.

Chris always appreciates his fans, and never once take us for granted. Chris' (true) fans are also very loyal, because he's a worthy person to admire/follow. It goes both ways.

One of the things i love the most about Chris is that it's always someone else who tweets that he did those kind of things.
He wouldn't tweet or tell by himself like "look how good i am, giving money to the dog"

nooooooooooo. If Brian was castrated after puberty he would not make a good house pet. All male cats will develop the behavior of spraying - marking the territory with urine. You can see tigers and lions do that in the wild. The odor is strong and you don't want your house to smell like cat pee. Males who are castrated after they've already developed this behavior will continue to spray, so they need to be fixed before their hormones cause permanent behavioral change.

Of course i know you are kidding. but it's important for our fellow readers who intend on adopting a male kitten who are not yet fixed to know - do it asap or you may be forced to abandon him!

Agree with the majestic part. She definitely reminded me of the evil queen in a feline production.

^I know, but it's very possible that Brian was only castrated when he ended up in the animal shelter where Chris got him from. He might have lived a very adventurous life prior that time.
Maybe that's even part of the reason he was abandoned in the first place?

Btw: male (non-castrated) cats can be learned to not spray in the house, especially when you get them as a kitten and they haven't developed that behavior yet, but I agree it's difficult.

And lol, here we are discussing our fave's cat's secret love life! It's high time for the book tour to start, or that we get something else from Chris, so we have something more significant to talk about.
