Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
^On the other hand: if the negotiations about a movie start about now it will take at least 2-3 years before the movie will be made and be in the cinemas, whether it will be an animated film or with real life actors. In that time frame and with Chris's tempo of popping out books TLoS could be in it's 5th or 6th book of a series.
The first movies of HP were also already made before the last books were written.
(Just look at me: typing "also", as if the TLoS movie adaptation is already a done deal. )

Actually, I think TLOS series is supposed to be a trilogy, so only three books will have to be made into movies. Nice and easy.

^Chris said there were more stories for TLoS he already has in his head and even prepared, so if the series takes off, we could get more than 3 books (and movies).
I think lot will depend on how fast he will make Connor and Alex grow up. I think i heard that the twins are already a few years older now in the 2nd book.

- Spoiler:
- Really?? Cool! He seems to have slowed down the ageing process already. I thought that two years were supposed to pass from TLOS1 and TLOS2, but reading the first 53 pages, it seems that only one year has a passed and the twins are 13 years old and not 14?

I think they're almost 14 maybe. I know he mentioned that Connor might be starting puberty, which means like his voice will crack on the audio.

Pssst, not to be a pain in the ass, but that's a spoiler, so could you put it behind a spoiler bar?MoviesAreLife wrote:

And @Genevieve too?
And yes, I know I brought their ages up myself, but my post was based on speculation and assumptions of things that Chris has revealed himself some time ago, while you have already read the book and therefore know the facts.
Thanks.

Okay, sorry!
I haven't read the book yet, though. Just the spoilers. I am a spoiler hog.

^O sorry, that's right, I mixed you and Lottie up when you were talking about opening the discussion thread so she could spill her feelings about the book, lol.
I'm still resisting to read the spoilers, as I really want to be unspoiled for this one. I was spoiled too much about the first, imo, and some things just didn't 'sparkle' as much anymore as when I had read them 'fresh' and unspoiled.
I want to really savour reading this book for the first time, because it will never be the first time again, if you know what I mean.

Like I said, please people , control yourselves when it comes to any kind of LOS2 spoilers in all threads that aren't "The Land of Stories 2 : The Enchantress Returns Read and Discuss thread!" until the 6th of August.

Your self restraint is inspiring.
And sorry! I thought the ages were common knowledge.

On filming The Land of Stories: I'm torn between wanting a live-action film, with Chris playing Froggie, and animation, with Chris doing all the voices like he does in the audio books. Either way I'll watch it!

@maxxvogel Spotted @hrhchriscolfer at dinner. Photo credz to my brave cousin, Autumn, who insisted I jump into the booth to take a picture. Thanks, Chris, for being a homie.

They were at the show "Just For The Record" supporting Will's boss or was his boss Robert Zemeckis who did the movie Flight that Will worked on.
Many people that have just met them say they act married. I think that is just so beautiful.

Another interview to come Tuesday August 6.
The website says Tuesday, but others are saying Monday.

Isn't soon for Chris to get married? I know according to rumours he's been dating Will for more than six months, but still.
Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
More like 10 months at least (since Halloween). But still...wow....

Well, it has got all the Chillers going insane with speculation overload.
But I think because NPH (thus Barney) was there with David, and Chris was there with Will, they just were too lazy to put partner or boyfriend for Chris and Will, or maybe they were acting similar to NPH and his husband.

Chris is going to be on Good Morning America, the same day Oprah will be.
Imagine what he will be like in the green room with her in there.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 6 - Oprah Winfrey; Desiree Hartstock ("The Bachelorette") speaks out on last night's finale; "Glee" star Chris Cofler on his new book, The Land of Stories; actor Logan Lerman ("Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters")
