Nope, there are also no immediate plans.
It is a shame. Germany is incredible popular to sell/promote things. We provide great revenue.

Weird. Isn't The Black Forest (in Germany) the site of inspiration for many original fairy tales?

Yup, also obviously our Brother Grimm connection. I believe the book would be well received. I grew up with fairy tales, therefore it is so very easy for me to connect with the book. It is like reliving a bit of childhood
But nonetheless, no plans at all to release it any time soon.

Amazon.co.uk and I are very, very good friends
But actually, you can order the English book. There is just no German version.

The UK version of TLOS 2 (ISBN 978-1-907-41177-9) is available now on German Amazon, for anybody interested in buying it there. The US version (ISBN 978-0-316-20154-4) is still listed as to be released on the 6th of August.

Anyone in the NY area want to meet up for the midnight reading? Because I am seriously considering taking the next day off from work so I can go!

Wish I could go to the NY thing. I was really hoping he'd squeeze in Boston this time around. He's been to NY/NJ for signings the first two books. It would be nice if they spread him around a bit (though I guess Seattle is getting him this time--I don't remember him going there last time, but I could be wrong--I know he went to Chicago and Ohio for TLOS1).

God, I wish he went to Ohio or something. That's still a few hours away but much closer than NY or Seattle.

Oh goodie, a small Colfer Palooza!!!
This means pictures and videos, and fan encounters.
I see he had to schedule his book signings around his Glee work again.
Well, if that means they will actually give him screentime and songs this time.....

Re: The Land of Stories 2 : The Enchantress Returns Main Thread
Oooh! A midnight event...about 4000 miles away. How the hell will he manage a 12am fanmeeting (assuming it's a good two three hours) and then the next day another one in 4pm?
But so happy he gets to do a tour and so many people get to meet and see him.
It's going to be good two weeks even for us Colferites who cannot attend.

I'd completely forgotten that one! So technically he just stays somewhat on the west coast time zone and sleeps after Kelly&Michael.

He's young, his body can take it. I bet he went to parties that were more exhausting and still managed to show up on time for work the next day.fantastica wrote:^ boy doesn't sleep. he ain't human.
Besides, this is nothing compared to staying up all night with a couple of children who keep throwing up at regural intervals, which a lot of us have done.

Re: The Land of Stories 2 : The Enchantress Returns Main Thread
Wow, when I see all the anxiety attacks and freaking out on tumblr of people who can't go to any book signing because they either are a few hundred miles away from any of the cities where he signs or happen to be away from the city that day..... heck, there are even similar anxiety attacks and freak outs from fans who do get to see him at one of those signings.....
.....then I'm kinda glad I live in a place on this world where I will probably never be close enough to a Chris Colfer book signing that I'd be reasonably tempted to go, lol. I'm sure it saves me a lot of headaches and ugly cries in my pillow.

This is all so exciting! But *sigh*. The last time he came to Denver was with the Glee cast during a mall tour back in 2009, I think? I didn't even know he existed back then...
