Wait, they have to make Kurt drunk inorder for him to have the right to blame Blaine? I'm all for Kurt letting it loose but then make him call again and having probably sorta "apologize" that drunken call...
I'm now going to count to ten in my little simmering mind.

No, I think this may be a bit mixed up. Kurt confronts Blaine in 6, and it goes badly. They are face-to-face. There is a gentler phone call in 8.
Oh, hell, these spoilers are getting muddled. Maybe we should just wait for the episode. Once again, how do people from Brazil know, FOR SURE, that Kurt is not in episode si and seven?

The best theory I've heard is that someone high-up in Fox (either production or marketing) has a Brazilian rent boy or girlfriend/mistress and they are leaking all this. Cheeky, but I like it.CloveGlee wrote:sheny wrote:So the spoiler about Marley and Unique singing "Blow me (One last kiss)" is true.

I don't mind a drunk call, because that's probably going to be the most raw, real expression of Kurt's pain over Blaine's betrayal. Kurt is too generous and forgiving a person to say what he's really thinking unless his filters are stripped away (either by stress like we saw in GC or anger/adreniline like in NBK). This is going to be the big chance for him to express what he's keeping inside but would never allow himself to say under other circumstances. I can actually picture the scene now - Blaine sees Kurt calling him and is all excited because he thinks that Kurt has had a chance to decompress and is willing to listen to him. But instead he has to deal with a weepy/angry/drunk Kurt who is telling Blaine exactly what he thinks about him and isn't pulling any punches. Inthe second call, Kurt can appologise for being drunk, but not for what he said because it was the truth and it needed to be said.
What I would like about framing the scene like this is that the blame for their break up is firmly placed on Blaine since we're going to see pretty graphicly just how deeply Blaine hurt Kurt, but at the same time we can have a small bit of sympathy for Blaine because he's getting slammed with just how much his moment of stupidity has cost him.

'Glee's' Ryan Murphy Planning Two Tribute Episodes, Valentine's Wedding
The Fox musical — which has already paid tribute toMichael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Madonna and Britney Spears (twice) — isn’t done with the hourlong dedications this season.
“We’re working on two tribute episodes,” co-creator/showrunner Ryan Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m not ready to announce yet because it’s not clear, but fun stuff.”
While details are being kept under wraps, Murphy this season has hinted that he wants to settle the Madonna/Elton John feud that erupted earlier this year. “A big GLEE goal this year: a Madonna/Elton John mashup. #gayhatchetburying,” he wrote on Twitter in August.
Tribute episodes have been a mixed bag for the series. The first Spears offering in November 2010 notched a then-series high, topping its Madonna effort. Its 90-minute Lady Gaga entry — the 18th episode of season two — registered a season low at the time with a 3.4 rating and 8.6 million viewers. This year’s “Britney 2.0” collected a 2.9 in the demo and 7.5 million total viewers.
Murphy — speaking at the opening of The Hollywood Reporter’s Design Hollywood showhouse at The Century as part of THR’s inaugural Design Issue for which he was the cover story — also noted he’s plotting a Valentine’s Day wedding, declining to provide specifics. (We’re looking at you, Will and Emma!)
Also to keep an eye out for: Glee’s Christmas episode, which Murphy described as “very emotional.” “We’ve taken characters that you wouldn’t expect should be together and put them together,” he teased, noting it’s done in a very Love Actually fashion.

If this is Blaine and Unique, the Blaine stans would erupt. Which I think would be a nasty thing to do. But we all know how Blarren stans act.
I hope we get Kurt and Rachel in this episode. I won't say we are until we get the actual Christmas album.
Because the only one they can pair Rachel with is Kurt, which is how unlikely you can get. Brody is meant to be he love interest at the moment.
If this is the case then maybe those songs are incorrect and we are getting a Hummelberry duet.
But this just me living with hope.
And it turns out Grant is finished with Glee. So the Seblaine shippers can now go away.
Though I am sad that Grant won't be on the show.
For any that is interested he is appearing on 90210 on CW in multi-episodes, which is kind of ironic as Kurt called Sebastian hair CW.

If we will have improbable duets, then I want a duet between Kurt and Santana

I don't mind Kurt being brutally honest and letting out his feelings in a drunken call to Blaine. But I do mind that Kurt is getting drunk in the first place. I really hope that if he gets drunk, it's due to indulging a bit too much at his party and not for any other reasons like emotional drinking...sheny wrote:So the spoiler about Marley and Unique singing "Blow me (One last kiss)" is true.

I just wish they would acknowledge how much Blaine hurt Kurt, for Kurt to actually get drunk. He's avoided alcohol since he barfed on Emma, even on dates when he is trying to be cool. I just can't believe Kurt getting randomly drunk at a party. I am just hoping this isn't a method to show poor Blaine yet again.
Either way, doesn't seem like we have much to look forward to this year other than a probably audition. Keeping expectations low, very low.

I hope 'very emotional' means positive emotions not something similar to the emotions in episode 4.04. I want to enjoy watching this show with a smile on my face not crying because somehow Kurt was screwed up for the 1000th time. And why all their emotional episodes have to be right before a hiatus? Just to make the fans suffer for 5 or 6 weeks.

Re: Kurt Hummel Spoiler Thread - part 7
I'd be excited for the Christmas episode, since I LOVED the past two Christmas episodes, especially the black and white Christmas special last year, but......it's pretty bad when I'm worried about whether Kurt or Rachel will even be in episodes now, Christmas included. I can't get excited until I know for sure, I really really hope they are. But I can't imagine why the writers would pass up either having New York Christmas scenes, or bringing Hummelberry back to Lima for the holidays...
But that makes me wonder - did they finish filming episode 9 that quickly? Or maybe 9 and 10 are being filmed simultaneously? (Which Glee does often)

^Episodes 9 and 10 are probably getting filmed simultaneously.
And I agree: it's a lot harder to get excited for any Glee news (as hard as it is already) when we know now that Kurt (and Rachel) may not even be in all episodes.
I anticipated Kurt to miss 2-3 episodes this season (as I was expecting Chris to get some time off for his other projects, like promoting both the SBL book and movie, and for filming his asylum movie), but now that it is happening so soon and often already (2 out of the first 7 episodes) and it's totally unrelated to Chris' stuff outside of Glee, I'm more worried.
And Rachel not being in all episodes is baffling.
I'm ridiculously still hoping that some of the information/spoilers that Brazilian site has are false or wrongly interpreted.

Unfortunately, Ryan's interview plus the fact that some of their spoilers were confirmed tend to confort me in the fact that Kurt will be put in the backburner. I can hardly believe Rachel is too, but Glee still hasn't decided where to put it's focus and tries too hard to juggle both New York and McKinley.
The problem, to me, is that stories of the Glee Club at McKinley are limited, since we already had 3 seasons of Glee Club struggling: first to reach Regionals and not be disbanded, then reaching Nationals only to lose again, and finally winning Nationals.
In the meantime, they faced: no budget allocated, hated from an other teacher trying to ruin them, internal conflicts with love shenaningans between the male and female leader, teenage pregnancy, gay bullying and outing, battle versus a rival Glee Club, internal split, etc. Considering how re-hashed their characters are, and how little edge any of them has right now, keeping the stories interesting is going to be difficult.
None of the spoilers, even Kurt's solo, are really exciting to me, since I hoped that we would finally see the Glee Clubbers turn slowly into young adults, and that would have been great TV, but instead it looks like we'll have to deal with High School time and again.
Oh, well, if that pleases the masses...

Re: Kurt Hummel Spoiler Thread - part 7
They really want us to get away from watching the show primarily for one character - especially one of the graduated students. It is very, very clear to me that what Murphy really wants is a show about high school students, where those high school students change intermittently and the audience regards them as interchangeable. He wants us to be as interested in Marley and Jake as we were in Rachel and Finn, and he wants us to wean us off the old kids. He believes that will be the secret to Glee's longevity.
Finn and Santana took a short hiatus at the beginning of the year; now Kurt and Rachel are taking a hiatus. This is strategic and carefully planned. He may feel that the new kids are catching on. I don't agree with him.

Glee is currently looking for an actor to play 8-year-old Kurt. Love me some flashbacks
Let's just hope and pray that this flashback is not an intro to a scene when Burt tells Kurt that he too, like Blaine, once cheated (on Kurt's mom).
(I swear: this show is making me paranoid. )

OMG KURT WAS 8 WHEN HIS MOM DIED. (or at least, of the two times the death was dated, the latter one had it at 8)
Should I hope?
Dare I hope?
I've always wanted to know more about his mom!!

Update:
YAY EPISODE 10!!!!!!! So Kurt's in the Christmas one after all!!!

If the flashback is of any substance I wish they'd really focus on the casting, both bb-Kurt and mom, even if it is a small role/segment. No gimmick casting of Kurt's mom, please.

Was there any reasonable expectation that he would not be?
Look, folks, I'm not even sold on the idea that he's not in 405 or 407. Those Brazlilans know some things about the McKinley side. The fact that they do not know about New York does not mean New York is absent.

I think he's just trying his best to troll to the press and create the illusion that the new kids have been received very well, when it actuality anyone in the Glee fandom knows that Jake/Marley/Kitty etc don't have a very large fanbase.

The ruination of Burt's 'Best TV dad' status solely for the mitigation of Blaine's transgressions?
Those writers wouldn't dare!... Would they? It's Glee, so anything's possible
I'm planning to just enjoy the Kurt flashback scene (if there is one) as it comes. Too bad Adam Kolkin is now too old to resume his role as young Kurt.
