Whether one likes or thinks a particular politician is worthy of praise or admiration ( and in all fairness Tanita's response was a legitimate opinion reacting upon an initial post) I think Chris shows he will overcome any misgivings he may have to public events in crowds if he feels strongly enough about something or someone.   

Love his enthusiasm and fanboy glee....

I am *so* happy to have new Chris pics. I recently looked at my tumblr and realized how little Chris is currently on my dash. Which is not okay. At all. But alas, Chris really is enjoying his downtime so for almost no new pics/news are available.

He looks so cute. He is such a fanboy and so happy to meet her. Also he is a HW star and still stood in a queue to meet her. That shows us how normal and down-to-earth he still is. Also a Will sighting is always nice. I am happy.

Among the 600 or so people who waited for a signed copy was “Glee” star Chris Colfer.
"Hi, how are you?" Clinton asked Colfer when he reached her table inside the Barnes & Noble bookstore at the Grove shopping mall.
"It was magical," Colfer said afterward, clutching his signed copy.

I hate politics.

I have enough of our Prime Minister selling off Aussie business's and other crap him and his party are trying to pull.   

Chris probably likes her for the things she has done in her life before her political career.

He loves strong women, and she is another strong women he admires.

I guess some folks were bitching because Chris wasn't signing autographs while in line for Hillary Clinton's book signing , and you know,  drawing attention to himself.    

The nerve of Chris.

These are probably the same assholes who were lauding Darren for signing autographs in the theater at Chris's movie premiere.

Chris has a great sense of decorum and understands that when he is at an event to support someone else or for something like this (when he is attending as an admirer) that it's not about him and he doesn't try to draw attention to himself. He did the same thing at Amber's show when he was ask for an autograph - he very politely reminded people that it was Amber's night, not his. He shows respect.

It looks like while he was one of the 600 guests for the event that he wasn't sitting around with the crowd which was probably a very good thing. He would have been noticed quickly and it would have been disruptive. Having security bring him in around the time it was his turn saved everyone a lot of headache. This is a security issue for both himself and Mrs. Clinton.

Not gonna lie... it's absolutely adorable how closely he and Will were standing together on the escalator. I'm so happy that he's in a relationship that he's so comfortable in.

The seasoned politician was totally caught off guard when Colfer stepped up to have his book signed in Los Angeles.
Hey isn’t that… Actor Chris Colfer, who plays Broadway fanatic Kurt Hummel on Fox’s “Glee,” at the Los Angeles stop on former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton’s book tour on Thursday? Colfer waited in line to have his copy of “Hard Choices” signed with the rest of the Clinton groupies — the crowd was in the hundreds — at the Barnes & Noble at the Grove, a hot house of who’s who sightings.
E! Online reports that the seasoned politician was totally caught off guard when Colfer stepped up to the plate. There’s a picture floating around of Clinton making the classic “OMG!” face. So it looks like this wasn’t a pre-scheduled “stars, they’re just like us” photo opp. Colfer also tweeted that he couldn’t remember what he said to the former first lady.
Is anyone else bummed that Clinton didn’t sign the book, “Kurty, don’t stop believing. xx Hillary ’16″?

After a lifetime of civic service, Hillary Rodham Clinton has seen it all. But it seems even the former secretary of state can still be caught off guard.

Actor Chris Colfer managed to surprise the 66-year-old author at her book signing at Barnes and Noble in Los Angeles on Thursday.

According to JustJared.com, the 'Glee' star waited his turn to meet the politician and get his copy of "Hard Choices" signed.

It's a good thing Colfer has mementos from the brief encounter. He claims he's already fuzzy on the details. Following the event, he tweeted: "I met @HillaryClinton today!!! Not sure if I embarrassed myself, can’t remember anything I said...#adrenaline."

Colfer will soon be greeting fans himself. His new book, The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning, is due in stores next month.

Honestly, what I love most when Chris is in fanboy mood. It is a nice reminder he can act just as passionate and crazy and starstruck as we tend to do.
