Would you like me to change the video to a link, so you have to click on it first?
No, that's okay. It must be a funny setting on my browser or something that's causing the videos to play automatically. If other people aren't affected, then I'm more than fine with it

Re: The Land of Stories 2 : Book Tour 2013
A lovely story of meeting Chris at the midnight book reading: tumblr.
This is when she sees and meets Chris:
This is when she sees and meets Chris:
I thought I was fine. But I wasn’t, LOL. Ever since they showed Chris that picture of us camping the line during the Huff Post interview I had this odd sense of “oh god this is actually happening I’m going to see him".
When the time came it was like this weird silent scream building up, and when he climbed that stage…
I can’t talk about this without seeming creepy, because there really is just something about him that defies convention. He’s tall, slender, and impossibly beautiful—the way he looks in photos doesn’t even do him justice, and I always thought that was a lame line, but it is so true that it is physically painful. He’s graceful in front of an audience but all limbs, too, and you can tell he doesn’t know what to do with himself sometimes (that’s why he chose to sit with a lapel mic instead of walk around with mic or standing at the podium).
You guys have seen the pics so I won’t linger on description but he was just so turned out—smooth, well-dressed, hair perfect, skin glowing, cheeks fever bright, eyes so alive. He glows.
When he talks about his books/projects he gets so excited—he has this huge, unconscious grin that makes his whole face dimple up and his cheeks go red. His giggle made me whine. His voice is beautifully high in person and goes even higher when he’s excited or amused—it’s light and airy and so gorgeous when contrasted with how masculine he otherwise comes across.
But it’s more than that, and I can’t even really put it all together. He exudes intelligence and poise while somehow maintaining that boyish silliness that you just can’t put on or manufacture. He’s like a million things at once that often contradict (I really get the whole Gemini thing now). At the end of it all I just had to relax and let it in—the reality of him, of a young man so full of sharp wit and ideas and creativity and drive and beauty so determined to be a success on his own terms and so good at getting there that it takes your breath away.
I was actually not that messed up as I went up to him to get my book signed. He isn’t intimidating, in the technical sense of the word—he’s all direct eye contact and blinding, friendly smiles so you can’t help but relax at least a little.
I put my stuff down and went up to him and launched into a story about our little urban camping experience—I told him about how long we’d been there, made jokes about cockroaches and mice, and he giggled and looked shocked ("Oh my god, really?!") in all the right places. He tried to apologize for the need to wait so long and I just shook my head and told him that it was actually a lot of fun, a great experience, and completely worth it. He kept asking me questions—where are you from, how are you doing, and then he thanked me for coming and I thanked him for coming and I shook his hand and he held my hand for way longer than I thought he would looking up at me with those beautiful eyes and freckles and that clean jawline and that slope of his throat—honestly, he’s mesmerizing, in a mature and confident way that I never could have really understood not having met him.

The Highlight of My Brief Conversation with Chris Colfer
- Chris: Hi, honey! I love your costume!
- Me: Thank you so much you've saved my life and changed my life and I'm such a huge fan.
- Chris: Oh! You're British!
- Me: Yeah, I was born in France, bought up in the UK, and now I live here.
- Chris: Adopt me.
- Me: Not a problem.
- THEN HE LAUGHED AND IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SOUND IN THE WORLD.

Apparently the store does not allow pictures inside, so maybe that's why we haven't seen much of this book signing yet.

Stupid stores with their stupid rules. What's their problem with fans taking pictures? I don't remember other stores doing something like that during his previous tour.

Re: The Land of Stories 2 : Book Tour 2013
I feel sorry for the fans, I definitely understand it's impossible for Chris to take picture with fans on event with that many people but the fact they could take pictures of him before it was their turn or their friend could take a picture or video of them talking to Chris definitely made their experience better in the previous stores I think.

Agreed, no one benefits from not taking pictures. I would be disappointed as well. At least it wasn't Chris fault as he is not responsible for the rules of the bookstore. I hope all fans in attendance still had an amazing time. I mean, they met Chris, they should be on cloud 7 .

Re: The Land of Stories 2 : Book Tour 2013
It definitely has to be an great experiance even just be in the same room as Chris but the signings are usually very very quick, some people don't get more than two seconds with Chris so the fact they cannot even take picture is big bummer especially if the fans know that all the other fans on different signings were allowed to...
