@chriscolfer loves to read fantasy and autobiographies
@chriscolfer is inspired by JK Rowling because she gave his generation and future generations a childhood
@chriscolfer likes the theory of “write drunk and edit sober”

Re: Chris at ALA Annual Conference, June 23, 2012
Just came back from ALA conference!
Well, our super efficient admin already posted the highlights and I didn't get pics. But I've a video of the speech and the q&a. Shaky and bad quality, but still. Alas, I am not sure if I'll be able to upload it today or if I'll have to wait til Wednesday when I get back home, but I'll eventually post it anyway.
But! Most important! I got my own Land of Stories! And Chris Colfer is honestly impressive. The auditorium was at full capacity and the audience was totally captivated. He was funny, smart, humble, perfect. Serious and severe when he had to. Yeah: the question about bullying.
No Glee stupidity and, most important zero klaine stupidity. People of all ages attended, mostly adults.
I'll probably write more later, when I get down from heaven. For now I'm gonna try to upload the vid.

Hahaha. You jealous, fantastica? It costed 75 dollars to be able to attend the Auditorium Speaker Series and the general exhibitions. So, I grabbed a plane to Los Angeles and there I went.

Re: Chris at ALA Annual Conference, June 23, 2012
Well, yeah, but the main reason this place was selected as the perfect one to take a break, happened to be Colfer's conference. But no, I'm not a stalker. I don't look the way Colfer describes stalkers.
They do. Definitely.

It's so great to hear people getting into these events and seeing Chris live. +You taking the effort of reporting it to us mortals here in Narnia.
I'm really liking the fact that he's able to hold an entire conference room captivated, just goes to show that he's a talented and charming little devil! And just full of wise, quotable stuff, I really see how he says he's an old person living in a young body...(I did notice that body again, but enough about it in this thread )
Just waiting for the positive reviews, having an author this interesting and facinating is already half the job. BTW! I like how Little Brown has organised all these events for him, really wishing now that the signings will go as smoothly as well, despite knowing there will be hundreds of fangirls around (and some klainers). Although I find it funny that there are so many ARCs flying around, I guess they have extras left since the release date is so near...so, so near. Since the hardback is already finished that means they'll be sending those out to amazon, and when they will get it, they'll look at the release date and send one soon to ME! Going a bit mental again.
