i half-hearted watch teh last episode last monday. it was my first time. I just have to say I have no interest in watching it again. It reminded me why i wasn't watching all the other shows on TV.

smash is VERY different from glee. it's not even glee hte college years or adult version. it's serious drama, w/ some music number thrown in. if smash is chocolate candy bar, glee is lollipop. ok this analogy is not about taste because I'd rather eat chocolate candy bar than lollipop but I am talking about the visual aspects of these 2 candies, and the implication of their names, if you know what I mean - smash is serious formal; glee is casual fun.

If I were a guy I would not want to buy that shirt after seeing how it fits on the REAL model. it made him look FAT! Chris however looks HANDSOME in it, and it fits him very well. Chris is a better model than most of the cloth he wore.

Smash is OK. The music is less exiting then on Glee, except their original songs which I LOVE (about one new original song per episode). It's standard soap drama about the world of showbizz and Broadway. I'm only bothered by the fact that they are shoving the supposed female lead down my throat all the time and how she is SO much more talented and suitable for the role of Marilyn she is to her antagonist Ivy, and that just ain't true. Anyone who isn't a pure stan for the AI girl can see that.

Once when I was at my dad's, I had started to watch Smash. about maybe 15 minutes into the show, I think he could tell I wasn't that interested and asked me if I wanted watch something else. I found it ok but I enjoy Glee way more.

I love the original songs as well. I don't think the main character is bad, but her performances really cannot compete with Ivy's performance, Ivy is excellent choice for Marylin. I feel they trying to make her sometimes too unlikeable and Karen too saint to make people root for Karen but it does not work.

I like Smash, I enjoy the storylines about musical but the constant cheating storylines are getting really annoying for me.

And being it from showbusiness which is very different from highschool it is kind of nice to see gay character not struggling with his sexuality. Also because it's more adult show it's refreshing to see tv show where showing affection is not tabu even for the gay characters

Oh my goodness, he just can't be that cute and young looking again. It's the hair again I know but this thread makes me feel all kinds of emotions: in one photo he looks sexy (and objectifiable ) and on the other one makes me feel all protective. I guess he never will get rid of that babyface.

Thanks, paulopf, for sharing that video with the rest of us. That's quite the unique angle you've got there to shoot the video (which can only be fully appreciated when we see the 'slap the butt' dance move )

Seeing this video, I can now understand why Chris cheered with a leg lift in his other SL performance, where he managed to nail the timing of the 'point to the finger' move at the end of the dance. He didn't quite manage it in this one

You're right, valkeakuulas. A lot of the transformation had to do with the hair. Just like Kurt transformed back to S1 Kurt when he sported his old hairdo in the 'More than a Woman' performance.
