Catt24 wrote:Your university does not seem that helpful. I would say volunteer at agencies in regards to what type of population you'd like to work with (i.e., children, elderly, individuals with developmental disabilities), and go from there. I found my volunteer place on my own (NYC has so many agencies that one can contribute their time to). ALso, I more or less knew at the time what population I wanted to work with and learn from. Also, I volunteered at the hospital at the time (LOL!) and did temp jobs (which were few and far between) until I got my foot in the door with the hospital I currently am employed with. It's a struggle, and there's no immediate fix to most career paths.Thank you so much again for all this information. I really appreciate it . My plans are to apply again next year to the Master's program in Counseling. I am currently not volunteering right now. It's hard to find a place when I don't really know anyone who knows a good place since looking online always seems to hit a dead end. I contacted the last University I attended and the school where I applied for my Master's program in terms of recommending a place to me where I can get my process started for experience, but they weren't of much help. They only told me what skills I need to improve, but didn't really give my any other recommendation. How did you first find your volunteer place?.
P.S - Thanks again for your advice it's really very nice of you fellow Kurtsie .
Thanks again for your advice!

AHH! My sister came back from Paris (so jealous) yesterday, and she brought me these natural and handmade sweets shaped soap, like little cupcakes! They are really small but so perfum-ish (?) that my house is full of their perfume. I love it!
But I don't think I'll ever use them, I don't want to ruin them.

I understand you so well. About two years ago, a friend of mine gave me a perfum-ish lol (is that a real word?) soaps for my birthday, though unlike you I've used one of them but I don't dare to use the other one lol. So who knows, maybe someday you will need them.
On a side note: Do you like Casey? I couldn't avoid to see your new avatar and I noticed is Casey from Skins.
Re: Bistro on the corner
Probably yes, but I hope not soon, they are so little and cute.brisallie wrote:Emile wrote:AHH! But, haha, it happened the same to me. I had one of those bath bombs (like the ones that Lush sells), and I planned not to use it because it was so colourful and perfum-ish (haha) and floreal and all, but I wanted so bad to see the effect in the water! So well, that bomb lasted short, but it was worth it. LOL.
And YES! I really loved Cassie while watching Skins! Such a complex character.

For a moment I'm going to turn this thread into the:
Claire has won her first category in the Glee Forum Awards: best writer. Congratulations !!!
Rule fabulously.
Claire and I are nominated in several other categories:
# 13: most quotable: Claire
# 14: most articulate: Claire and me
# 16: most (Glee) knowledgeable: me.
Within 2 days those categories will be up for voting.
Since some of you asked to keep informed (and because I want us to win!!! ), I've put a link in this post.
As soon as you can vote I'll put up another link *shameless selfpromoting*.

Have you try to see if you can find them online? better: use them and use it as an excuse to go to Paris for resupplyEmile wrote:AHH! You see!!! So why keep those beautiful soaps inside a storage when you can see the boms effect in your bath? lol
Love Casey since the first minute she appeared in episode one! I liked her absent look and how it seems she was always in cloud nine
@Marie, thans for remind me (us) that competition, well poll.
Re: Bistro on the corner
Congrats to Claire!
Nah, online wouldn't be the same!
Yeah, I loved her since she appeared as well!
Haha, I can say to myself: "you HAVE to find a way to go to Paris, because those lovely soaps are waiting for you! And now you know so well the perfume, that you can follow it."Shinra17 wrote:Have you try to see if you can find them online? better: use them and use it as an excuse to go to Paris for resupply

Right? She always had that absent/airhead look that made her seem out of reality (and her 'oh, wow' were lovely), but IMO she was actually an observer: she watched, gazed and loved things deeply, therefore she really understood the people around her.brisallie wrote:Love Casey since the first minute she appeared in episode one! Yeah, I loved her since she appeared as well!
Here is one of her "Oh wow"
Yeah, she was someone who didn't say so much but was always there being quiet and observing every gesture and word from everyone so at the end she was the one who knew everything .
Is Casey or Cassie?
Re: Bistro on the corner
^Haha, cute .gif!
Since I wasn't so sure, I searched it, aaaand:

I'm going to vote once it opens. Since it's hard to choose in categories that you're both nominated in, are there any categories that the two of you prefer?

Please Shinra don't get mad but as Kim said he's gonna be a husband now, so he has to be a loyal man.
PS: My dog was sneezing today, hopefully she's not catching a cold :O

Because of Paulo's wedding. I mean he's not really jealous but I was saying that Paulo has to be away from him now because he has to be a loyal man. Just kidding.
Re: Bistro on the corner
then he should poison paulo's husband, not your dog! what was I thinking! It's time to sleep...
