Your university does not seem that helpful. I would say volunteer at agencies in regards to what type of population you'd like to work with (i.e., children, elderly, individuals with developmental disabilities), and go from there. I found my volunteer place on my own (NYC has so many agencies that one can contribute their time to). ALso, I more or less knew at the time what population I wanted to work with and learn from. Also, I volunteered at the hospital at the time (LOL!) and did temp jobs (which were few and far between) until I got my foot in the door with the hospital I currently am employed with. It's a struggle, and there's no immediate fix to most career paths.

I understand you so well. About two years ago, a friend of mine gave me a perfum-ish lol (is that a real word?) soaps for my birthday, though unlike you I've used one of them but I don't dare to use the other one lol. So who knows, maybe someday you will need them.

On a side note: Do you like Casey? I couldn't avoid to see your new avatar and I noticed is Casey from Skins.

But, haha, it happened the same to me. I had one of those bath bombs (like the ones that Lush sells), and I planned not to use it because it was so colourful and perfum-ish (haha) and floreal and all, but I wanted so bad to see the effect in the water! So well, that bomb lasted short, but it was worth it. LOL.

And YES! I really loved Cassie while watching Skins! Such a complex character.

Right? She always had that absent/airhead look that made her seem out of reality (and her 'oh, wow' were lovely), but IMO she was actually an observer: she watched, gazed and loved things deeply, therefore she really understood the people around her.
