So during the book signing Chris Colfer told the little girl in front of me that if there was going to be six books, their covers would be silver and yellow but if there were just five, the last one would be silver.

How I Met Chris Colfer!
After more or less 14 hours I finally find myself in front of this amazing guy. The line for the signing is going really fast, more or less 15 seconds each, and I spend my time in line thinking about what to say.
I walk on the stage and here he is. Handsome as I expected, an handsome young guy with light scruff, blue eyes and the biggest smile. I’ve always known Chris was sweet and sometimes goofy and all that jazz. But seeing him in real life today made me realize how really adorable he is. He’s one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and you can see it in his funny answers, hilarious and clever jokes and in the big smile he has every time a fan approaches him (do I dare to say his smile is bigger with little fans? )
I say hi and he says hi back. I tell him that I’m from Italy and that I envy him so much because soon he will be able to work with Sir Ian McKellen. He looks up from the book and his smile lights up and he starts bubbling “Yes! Gosh, I know! I’ve met him and talked to him and he’s amazing, he’s just…” and at the /same/ time (I still don’t know how we did it) we say “he’s just a legend” and he says “Yes! He’s a legend!”
I say “Thank you for everything” and he says “Thank you” back while shaking my hand.

In a surprise turn of events, I did actually make it to Chris for a brief moment!
Because we got there relatively late (flight landed at 10:30; arrived at the hotel at 1:00; made it to Union Square a bit after 2) we ended up with orange wristbands, so there was no Q&A or reading for me - although I could definitely hear the screaming.
So I’m sitting on my butt in Barnes and Noble for some hours. What do I do? I read the entirety of TLOS4. In one go.
Later, we were ushered up to the 4th floor and into seats while we waited for the rest of the blue wristband-ers to get their books signed. I didn’t take many pictures, I’m sure there are plenty floating around already. But oh my god he was just the sweetest to everyone.
Finally, my row was allowed to get up and get in line - I was clutching the book (I had the other three books, but at the hotel! I didn’t think I’d get anything signed at all so I didn’t bring them) as well as a note I hastily wrote on a 2-inch bit of paper from my writing ideas notebook that I carry around everywhere. In the note, I thank him for SBL, which is what gave me the push I needed to pursue film & screenwriting in college. I also tell him that I blew him off for London last year by accident.
I got to him and spoke much louder than I intended. I told him that I’d finished the book and he looked surprised (and pleased) and asked how I liked it. I said it was great, but he’s “an evil, evil man.” He understood what I meant, ducked his head apologetically and went “The ending! I know, I know, I’m sorry!”
(No spoilers, but I stand by that statement.)
I went in for a handshake but the next person’s book was already at his hands so I figured, well, that can happen next time if there is a next time, and went back downstairs feeling giddy.
I didn’t have a whole long spiel with him or anything, and sort of had a rough day seeing as I was up at 4am to catch a flight and expecting to attend the Q&A and stuff as well, but even those three short seconds were worth it. It’s absolutely true that when you’re in front of him, you’re the only person he’s focused on.
I cannot express how glad I am that this didn’t turn out to be yet another near miss.

I Just Really Love Chris Colfer

There is honestly nothing that makes me angrier than when people say Chris “hates” his fans. I wanted to share my story today from the NYC book signing (07/07) as even further proof that he is the most wonderful prince alive.
I am living in NYC this summer for an internship and was fortunate enough to meet him after Jimmy Fallon on 06/25 (see my header). When I approached the table today, I was greeted with a “Nice to see you again!” and my brain short circuited. I had a feeling he would remember me, and I am so blessed he did.
I told him that he has been such a positive influence and source of happiness in my life over the years and that he has helped me get through some hard times. I also told him about how I’m graduating college next year and moving to New York, and that he has a lot to do with that.
He congratulated me and even asked me about what degree I am getting. He wished me luck and shook my hand and told me that he hoped to see me again soon. This is also the same man that bought everyone cookies while we waited in our seats for hours.
Chris Colfer loves his fans. He remembers his fans. He cares about their well-being and is so genuine and loving and attentive. I just really really love him.

Re: The Land of Stories 4 : Book Tour 2015
I wasn't sure if I'd be able to go to the signing tomorrow since I started a new job with my company last week, but now I am going to be able to make it so I pre-ordered my book and spot in line!
