The Land of Stories 4 : Book Tour 2015

Okay, so I got to meet Chris on Saturday morning on Skokie.
I left my house at 5 am with my boyfriend and got to the mall right around 10. It was crowded, but also super organized so it ended up being a really easy process luckily. There were a lot of younger kids and women around my age and a little bit older too.
I had to buy the book at the desk and the ticket at the same time for $18. For a meet and greet, that is like dirt cheap and it was definitely worth more. I was in line for about an hour when I met him. Man, pictures and audio do not do this beautiful specimen of a human being any justice at all. It’s actually a little insulting how absolutely gorgeous he is. Even my boyfriend made some comments on it.
There were little kids in front of me and behind and seeing his interactions with them was super cute. He was so nice to them and he didn’t talk down to them at all.
Not gonna lie when I say I legit almost fainted when I met eyes with him but he was the sweetest and Alla was super cute too. Our conversation wasn’t much but it still made my year.
Chris: Hi how are you?
Me: Oh my gosh you are so beautiful
Chris: *blushes and smiles like a fucking angel* Aww thank you. Likewise.
And Alla is laughing as I say bye super shyly and walk away like a dumbstruck idiot.
Honestly, I don’t even care about the context. My hero and idol called me beautiful and that’s all that matters frankly.
I drove 4 hours for 10 seconds of Chris and it was completely worth it. I regret nothing.

heyjealousy09 , theshriek, and I are on our way home from the TLOS4 book signing in Nashville. We had a wonderful time! Chris was a sweetheart and very attentive. I shared with him a story about a friend of mine’s young daughter who had struggled with reading for a long time. I gave her daufhter The Wishing Spell as a gift and it prompted her to read more and she learned to love reading. He thanked me for sharing the story wirh him and said it was the best compliment he could ever receive. ☺ Also overheard later…from a young boy to his mom after the signing. “Thanks mom, you’re the best mom ever!” We also met up with nadiacreek and her son American Boy, who was very cute and shy. Lovely catching up with her. It was a fantastic day and I’m thankful to have experienced with my fellow fandom friends!

So over the past two weeks I noticed two of the campers going around with the Land Of Stories under there arms and after talking to them we all discovered how much we love it!
Today, one of my cabin girls received the fourth book in the mail and all of her cabin mates literally went into a frenzy.
We sat gossiping for 20 minutes about them!! Apparently, it’s their favourite book!!

I went to the Chris Colfer signing today and I got to sit FRONT ROW.
(heads up: he’s a beautiful angel elfin prince)
His voices during his reading (his ROBIN HOOD VOICE) were so amazing honest-to-god it was the best thing ever.
My favorite q&a: a small child asked him “did you like making glee?” and he said “well that would depend on my call time” *laughter*
Then, when I actually met him I told him that my aunt has a PhD in fairy tale literature and she likes his books a lot and he goes “oh wow, that’s good! I’m glad that people in academia like it!” and I told him that she was trying to fit them into her syllabus and he was like “oh my gosh that’s so amazing!! tell her I say hi!” AND HE IS SO KIND AND AMAZING
He is my favorite actor/singer/writer/anything and he fact that I got to meet him (again!!) and actually talk to him this time was like a fairy tale (HA).

For anyone who may be curious, I was the hostess for the event and the introducer for Chris. You guys were a great crowd!

I got to meet the amazing Chris Colfer today and I’m still shaking and smiling from all the excitement. He is the sweetest person on earth and I wish I could relive today again and again.
