Re: Chris and Family in Paris
^ He is the sweetest brother, I'm melting They've always had the best brother-sister relationship:
An engagement, maybe? My Chill-supporting heart is so happy right now, and people are speculating all over tumblr. Even if they're just having a simple family vacation, Will being there with Chris' family speaks volumes. Plus the fact that Chris and Will have been to Paris together several times before
Glorfindel wrote:^Why would he get married in Paris or London, and go through all that hassle? Is that even possible as an American citizen?
And he'd have no friends at his wedding, like Ashley.
Unless he got an exclusive offer to get married at Palais Versailles of course. He couldn't refuse that. tonguue

Re: Chris and Family in Paris
Chris will be 25 and Will is 32.
But no more speculation. It is just great to see Chris so happy and relaxed.
I hope the paps give Chris some privacy after this.
Though word is now out that Chris is in France.

People get married in other states/countries all the time. Destination weddings are a big thing, especially when people are from different areas of the country. And I could picture someone as private as Chris having a destination wedding in a location where it would be harder for the paparazzi to invade. And of course, some people choose to have a destination wedding have just close family and friends there, and then have a big party back home after the fact. I could also picture Chris loving the idea of getting married in some beautiful castle in Europe
In reality, the trip is most likely a gift to his family for their support over the years now that Glee is over, and if those other women are Will's mom and sisters perhaps an opportunity for the two families to meet before an possible engagement and/or wedding.
As for it being the same time as the Glee convention, I'm sure that is just a coincidence. I bet Chris started planning this trip as soon as he knew his end date for Glee. It's not like you can just hope on a plane at the last minute with that many people to go to Europe. It takes some time to book everything, and make arrangements for security and all that. With that many people, including two in wheelchairs, they definitely need to do some pre-planning for what they would be doing.
At any rate, I hope he is enjoying every minute of it!

Glorfindel wrote:^Lol, so true. :)I hope he didn't mind getting photographed, but he doesn't seem to be too bothered by it on the pics, and he looks great, and happy.
The one with him kissing Hannah is very sweet.
Perhaps this was some sort of pre-emptive thing and now they get to spent, or perhaps already got to spent, the rest of their vacation without phototgs.
The younger woman in the grey coat looks awfully lot like Will, so much that I'd hazard her being related to him some way.

It does look like the same Disney tour guide and the same security guy from their last trip to Disneyland Paris. It's nice he has people there he feels safe with using their services .

Re: Chris and Family in Paris
i dont' see chris wanting to get married within the next 10 years at least. what's the benefit of marriage to him so young? he's not likely to want human kids anytime soon. As gay men they can adopt or father children at almost any age, unlike women whose biological clocks are on a much tighter schedule. In practice he and will are already a family - they live together, they raise their furry kids together. they are joint at the hips in almost event public and private events. they probably sing to each other every day too, especially when taking joint showers. what more romantic can it be? marriage on the other hand has serious financial and legal consequences. that's why LGBT community wants to legalize marriage so much. It's not the "romantic factor", but the practical implications, such as inheritance, social security spousal benefits, spousal support in case of divorce, medical and legal consent and decision making, child custody and support, etc. God forbid if something bad happens to Chris, he may very much want to leave the majority of his net worth, if not all, to his family, especially his sister, due to her condition that requires constant care on a permanent basis.
So, don't hold your breath for news of wedding bells. Chris is a very smart man with a clear head. He knows what he's doing. he's not Kurt. Well in all fairness, Kurt wouldn't get married either but for the crazy unrealistic klainers who threatened the producers' lives to demand it.

I called it again, Disneyland Paris did tweet that picture: https://twitter.com/disneylandnl/status/580341514112356353
Re: Chris and Family in Paris
I think it's hilarious that Chris would complain about skinny jeans for work and yet wears them himself these days.
He looks fantastic in them, doesn't he??
Must say I love that he and Will and the family are doing vacation time before buckling down for the Noel shoot in England.
April I'm assuming is the shooting schedule.

It was the Dutch Disneland twitter that put the pic online:
Translation: "@chriscolfer (known as Kurt in Glee) has visited Disneyland Paris yesterday!"

Re: Chris and Family in Paris
I'm so looking forward to Chris excellent European adventure for the next couple of months. I think weekend jaunts to Paris are in the cards for Chris, as much as he's an Anglophile, he's been to Paris at least 4 or 5 times from what he's said in interviews.
While I hope the PAPS give him some space, can't help but feel that personally with no more Glee obligations, Chris is going to relax so much more with all these separate projects he's juggling. He probably won't have to answer other than nominal Glee questions anymore (how did the show impact your life, yada, yada) and with time the focus on Glee will fade pretty drastically as he moves forward in his career. He seems so comfortable in public with Will/family/friends.
Of course Paris will do that to you.
Unabashed francophile here.!

Goinf back to the topic,Chris looks adorable
Re: Chris and Family in Paris
^Thanks for wishing me luck ladies, and thanks for offering to help, Marie, so sweet of you! I'll love to meet up with you if I get to go, and the funny thing is I would be studying at Maastricht University, so I'll be living quite near to you. I'll PM you.
Back to the topic, I love how he takes pictures with different characters every time he goes to Disneyland, Pinocchio, then Mickey, and now Chip & Dale. Over the years I'm sure we'll get pictures of him with every single Disney character.
