At first I thought this Cody guy was gonna be a friend of Rachel from 'Funny Girl', but now, I think is more probable that he's friends with Santana, or she simply met him at some random bar she visited. I remember she got a job in a place similar to 'Coyote Ugly', but that happened when she definetely moved to NY.
