OK so if only the new New Directions are going to sing I'm going to vote for the worst songs on that list. I don't want to hear any of the good ones sung by Blah and the noobs. This is the worst idea ever. Why can't they just let the "original" singers sing them?

I want my votes back. I don't want anyone but Kurt (and Rachel) singing DG or Born This Way. That tweet is so misleading just like FOX's page. If it was't for the article here we would never know that the McKinley people are going to sing them instead of the originals.

Why do they have to keep repeating songs? So boring!

I don't see any reason to listen to remade songs at all, unless they give Kurt a new solo. The production quality and creativity has gone down, not up. Why listen to a poor retread?

I can't believe they are ruining the 100th episode like this. It should be about the entire cast not just the McKinley seniors.

This. They're focusing the 100th episode on Blaine and Sam the graduating seniors, and are letting the noobs sing, all the things TPTB know the fans don't want.
 

When most shows would take the opportunity of a milestone episode like that to do a reuinion episode with or without flashbacks, Glee keeps discarding and ignoring the old cast, including the NY cast probably (if the noobs sing 10 songs), and they will be propping up their usurpers 2.0 with the successes of the ones they threw away.

Well, good luck with that, Glee.  
Part of me wants to see you crash and burn spectacularly when you will try (and fail!) to redo the old magic songs like 'Defying Gravity', 'Don't Stop Believing', 'Somebody to Love' and 'Bad Romance' with your current noobs cast.

And hey, I just realized why there are no Kurt solos and iconic solos of the other old cast members (like DROMP) on that list. There's no way anyone of the NooBlams can come even close to copying one of those songs. Hee.

Kalena G. (???) confirmed via Twitter that she only wrote the "once upon a time" part and the rest was improvised. You could spot the differences easily in terms of talents and spontaneity. Chris and Adam truly were golden.

I know TVbythenumbers has said the New Directions sing the songs, but does the FOX site itself state it? I didn't see that on the page where one votes so it seems they want to trick fans into voting without knowing what for. (If it's not disclosed, if it is, I stand corrected)

I just realised that Blarren fans are probably going to get Silly Love Songs and the other Warblers song to be re-recorded with Blaine singing them again, because image what ruccuss they are going to raise if someone else dares to sing them. But I bet they are not worried about iconic Rachel, Finn, Mercedes or Kurt songs sung by McKinley newbies!

I am so angry. I know they have no respect for the originals but this kind of replacement movement just sucks. It's mean, disrespecting and lazy. Angry!

The show has listed 30 songs to "choose" from.

28 are from Season 1/2.

I song from Season 3. "We are Young"

1 song from Season 5. "Roar"   

Other than Artie and Tina, nobody was around for most of those songs. Well, Sam was around for the Season 2 songs, and Blaine I suppose can remember some songs while he competed against them as a Warbler, but it's ridiculous.

They are trying to act as if graduating for the Seniors it is so momentous their one never ending year with the Noobs so they have to reminisce about their other friends who have already graduated. So the Noobs can sing them and destroy those iconic songs.

Seriously, you couldn't ,make up more fucked RIB stuff than that if you tried.
