Yeah, but I had to laugh when he said if it were up to Cory his tribute would probably be a Canucks themed episode.

Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
I liked him being honest about Cory and not selling the tragedy to make profit. I think his first day back to Glee will be very hard. I suspect he may has not grasped the entirety of Corys death yet and how it will affect his everyday life.
The interviewers did fantastic jobs and really got interesting information. I want to know what movies he is talking about. I really, really want to know.
Chris sounds tired in the second interview. I loved how the interviewers just seemed to be major fanboys. I love it when interviewers actually get my obsession. They knew about Chris, the books and his careers so we actually got good questions.

I know! It's like a small treasure island always something little around the bend. And then come the fan encounter stories that make you either smile like a lunatic or cry of happy tears.

I bet Cory would have loved that
And also I noticed how his voice changed when he started to talk about Cory, he might be still living the mourning. And probably I'm reading things too much, but when he said he will handle things as well as he can, it sounded to me like he wasn't only referring to Cory, but also to Glee itself, like he's not so excited about the new season.
As regards his look, by one side I'm glad that he apparently sold his chrundershirts, but I think he needs a haircut.
Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
Going back to a new season is weird for all of them right now because of Cory.

Several quotes from the interviews:
“When I think of reality, I just think of limits and tasks that the world gives you. When I think of fiction, I think of absolute possibility, and strength, and imagination.”
“I kinda miss him being kind of sassy. I wish he stood up for himself a little bit more.”
“Oh, I love him in New York…I think the city fits him very well.”
“My plan is working, mwah-ha-ha-ha!”
- Chris Colfer responds to: “It’s gotten so that I don’t think of you as the guy from Glee anymore, because you have so many other really neat things going on. I think of you as a writer."
“I’ve got some films that are coming up, and… I’m sure I would love to do another television show someday, but we’ll see. We’ll see. I’ll go with the flow. I’ll be the Forrest Gump feather.”
“Oh, I think I’ve plotted my next seven books, um… Hopefully which will be done by this time next year! We’ll have a lot to talk about.”
“Oh I think I’d just want it to be very simple. Me and a piano, I think. And I’d probably name it like, Clearance Bin. Just in case - just in case it ended up there, I could say, I warned you.”
— Chris Colfer, EW Morning Show, responds to: "Let’s say you’re gonna do an album. What kind of music would it be?"
“Absolutely. 100% yes.”
- Chris on tackling Broadway one day.

“Oh absolutlely 100% yes. I get approached to do shows all the time, and I just don’t have time.”
— Chris Colfer, on whether he wants to do Broadway
“I know, but I can’t say because it would ruin the first episode… I’m pretty sure they’ll use it to tease the first episode.”
— Chris Colfer on what happens with Klaine in Season 5
“I love having to wake up and not go anywhere…except another dimension.”
And this might shut some crisscolfer tinhatters up (although I doubt all of them):
“Definitely not enemies, absolutely not… Darren and I - we are not in a relationship in real life. We go home at the end of the day. Separate homes! Glee is not a documentary.”
— Chris Colfer answers “What is your relationship with Darren? Friends? Enemies?"

Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
Oh my, the answer for potential Broadway gives me so much hope! It will be my reason one day to finally travel to NYC and see Chris live!
Happy about the CC shipper non-sense answer. It is sad but good and gave a question with no way to deny it anymore (even though some will still not believe him).
Klaine... urgh... Klaine.
I want this interview to see. Now!

What a waste of his time and breath that he had to listen to and answer that question.
You know what's interesting about the way he phrased it is that he says they aren't enemies, but he doesn't actually say they are friends either. He really leaves it with the idea that they are just co-workers--they do their jobs and go to their separate homes at the end of the day, nothing more. Which is what I always suspected--they are just work friends, but don't hang out outside of work.
So, for the record, Criss Colfer is not on, never has been on, and never will be on.
Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
I love how he realised that saying they are both going home that he'd have to add the "seperate homes" one just to get it though their thickskulls.
He's being very presice and adult in this one.
I think you could see that some of the stuff sent to his twitter about the 'proper ways of mourning' have hurt him. These interviewers have to ask about Cory but I love how they have phrased the questions and I like how Chris answers them.

There are some missing parts in that quote I found this one where he says they are friends.
“Definitely not enemies, absolutely not! No, we’re very good friends… I think sometimes I - I’m always very hesitant to say any relationship that I have, because the fans are so sure that Klaine exists, and a lot of fans think that Glee is a documentary - but it’s not. It is not a documentary! Darren and I, we are not in a relationship in real life. We go home at the end of the day. Separate homes! But, everyone on that set’s family. Everyone.”

^Yes! I was looking for the full quote, as the tumblr poster I quoted admitted he/she didn't get the entire quote.
Ahhhh, the lovely sound of crisscolfer tinhatters hearts being broken.
(Although some of them still will stay firmly in the land of denial.)

Although I'm glad by his answer, and hopefully crisscolfers don't take this as a PR move like "He said that because he was forced", but other side I didn't expect someone would ever ask him this. It gives me the impression the rumours have sprung so much that Chris needs to clarify what's going on between he and Darren.
Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
It's embarrassing for sure (really, that question should not have been asked, imo), but on the other hand: maybe Chris was glad to have an opportunity to finally loud and clearl put a nail in the coffin of crisscolfer. (and he did, hehe)

Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
Someone submitted this question to them on their homepage where they asked for fan-input. I was already side-eyeing it when I read it there and I'm side-eyeing the HuffPost even more for actually asking it to Chris, but still: LOL @ the tinhatters!brisallie wrote:I didn't expect someone would ever ask him this. Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
^Maybe Chris and his team allowed the question? (if they got to determine the subjects of the questions before the interview). Maybe Chris is just sick and tired of this rl shipping shit and wanted to address it like this?
After all, this is exactly how he 'came out': via an interviewer asking a question.

You might be right, yes. Maybe he really wanted to address it and used this fan-question as an opportunity.Glorfindel wrote:^Maybe Chris and his team allowed the question? It's still a dumb question, though, and it's annoying that he has to deal with this and the Klaine stuff all the time. Hopefully addressing it through this question now will help not getting pestered so much about it anymore in the future.
Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
@Marie, you have a point there. This might have been actually a PR move to clarify the rumours out there.
About that question in particular, I like how Chris took it so calmly and even joked about it "No, Darren and I we go to separate homes", because I think he actually must be tired (and pissed off) of all the fuss this provoke.
