What a great piece of writing! What an honor for Chris to be asked!
I am not going to speculate what Chris was thinking about when he wrote the second paragraph, but I can certainly think of some people it applies too. And I am definitely suffering through.

I agree that it is a great piece of writing and that it is also an honor to be asked. I'm so proud.

I love how he can literally shade anything and use sarcasm while still remaining classy. That takes talent.
Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
I love how his sense of humor and wit just sparks off the page. He could be a journalist. I cannot wait for his autobiography someday.

Yay! Another Chris interview! This one was pre-recorded from his UK tour recently, I think.

Vanity Fair: The Top 10 Best Actors Under 30
Young Guns
Hollywood loves a golden boy. But while a previous generation of leading men may have catapulted to stardom in baggy jeans and Fruit of the Loom T-shirts, today’s rising stars demonstrate as much talent in fashion as they do on film. We’d say these 10 are ones to watch, but then again, you probably already knew that.

CHRIS COLFER
As Kurt Hummel on Fox’s Glee, Chris Colfer showcases a range of charms, including a penchant for unapologetic trendsetting. But when he’s not playing his best-known character, the multi-hyphenate writes, publishes, and produces as well. Colfer’s wardrobe is equally eclectic. The Golden Globe–winning actor has made a habit of detail-oriented accoutrements, open-collar shirts, and unflappable poise.

Wow there are some really good and famous actors on that list and Chris is one of them.

Chris is getting the recognition he deserves for the actual work he's been doing with a small hint towards the factor that our baby penguin has grown up. Great news! This little vingette made me smile.

I'm in a mean enough mood to take a lot of satisfaction in who made it to that list and who is not on in!

I am so thrilled about this.
Chris belongs on this list.
And that is quite a list.
Chris Hemsworth I would definitely call adonis.
And for Chris to be forth is wonderful.

Peter Paige - Rise and Shine Queer as folk USA 2013 about casting a younger actor for a QAF remake.
The answer? Chris Colfer!

As awesome as that would be, I'm pretty sure that Chris stated from the very beginning that he didnt want to be typecast as a gay character just because of who he was or the fact that he played Kurt. But, if he wants to do it, I'd be ecstatic for him.
Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 6
It's true Chris said he didn't want to be typecast as gay character when he accepted the role of Kurt.
There was a lot of nudity and sex scenes in the two episodes of the Canadian version I watched. I doubt Chris would be comfortable doing that.

I don't think Chris would be averse to playing another gay character. It's more he doesn't want to play just gay characters.

As a fan of the US version of QAF, and of Peter Paige (who also writes/directs), I would LOVE it if Chris and Peter worked together on a project. It could either in front of the cameras, playing opposite each other, or writing/producing a project.
And I think it's complimentary that Peter did think of Chris as someone that could not only Chris Colfer's Kurt does remind of me of a younger, PG rated version of Paige's Emmett on QAF.
