I was at Chris’s book signing tonight and I was wearing these tights



And some woman who worked for him (I’m guessing either a manager or a publicist?? She seemed pretty in charge of things) insisted I step back from the table so Chris could see them. 
And Chris initially looks very concerned by them and I was pretty confused by that



And then after a few seconds he goes “Oh they’re tights! I thought they were tattoos and I was like ‘No no no, you’re too young to have that many tattoos!’”

So I met Chris Colfer today. 
Whoa man. Where do I begin? 
I got my book and ticket from will call, then met up with some lovely people (I’ll tag them once I verify their urls) at about 4 and sat down with them.
Then time-killing went on,
(and during that time I went to the bathroom and got lost on the way back and was trapped in a maze of stairwells and locked doors under the library for like 15 minutes and I started hyperventilating and then I saw a button on a wall and pressed it frantically and an employee came out and rescued me and led me back to the Q&A area.)
Also during the waiting time, I noticed that wordplaying and her daughter were there, but I was feeling unusually shy and didn’t end up introducing myself.
Eventually Chris arrived and let me tell you.
He is so fucking pretty in person. 
I was really overwhelmed when he came into the room actually, because both times I met Darren, he looked like Darren rather than Blaine and that somehow made him easier to talk to. Chris however, looked like Kurt and like, every Klaine scene flashed before my eyes and I teared up a little.
He was lovely and funny and the Q&A was pretty short, but then the signing lines got started and everyone started freaking out.
I was in the third group called up, and I was in line for probably ten minutes, maybe a little less, and then it was my turn.
I made a very slight fool of myself by talking really really fast in attempt to say what I wanted to say.
I thanked him for putting fairy tales back on the bestseller list, even though it was my plan to do that, and he said sorry and I told him I didn’t mind a bit, and then I told him I had one of my short stories to give him, if he ever felt inclined to read it, and he said thank you and that he always needed reading material for the plane.
After that I went to the area for taking pictures of him and tried to get some, but my hands were still shaking with nerves and adrenaline, so they turned out pretty shitty.
I’ll post one of them here however, simply because the face he is making is perfection.

met Chris Colfer for the first time tonight and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. He did a 10 minute q&a before the signing and all of his answers were so funny and he was the cutest prince!
(my hand was shaking so hard so i couldn’t get any good pictures i’m sorry)













This was my conversation with Chris (I recorded it too but you can barely hear anything):
Chris: Hi! How are you?
*shakes his hand* (he had the softest hand ever I was about to pass out)
Me: Hi, I’m Aseel, I’m good. (I paused for a few seconds because I was distracted by his beautiful blue eyes and I completely forgot everything that I wanted to say to him) I just love all your books and everything you do-
Chris: Thanks!
Me: and thank you for everything.
Chris: Aww!
Me: I wanted to ask, if you could be in any Marvel movie, what kind of movie would you like to be in?
Chris: I would… oh my gosh! can I… can I be in X-Men and then be in the Avengers movie too? (then I started screaming internally) Can I be the same character? Someone told me that I would be the perfect Northstar. I’m not sure what character that is in X-Men but I’ll take it, I’ll take it!
Me: Okay, thank you so much!
Chris: Thank you for coming!
After I met him, I stayed for a while and watched him interact with his other fans. He was the sweetest to everyone and he gave enough time to all his fans and made sure that each and every one of them had a special experience. You could see how much he cared for his fans and it was amazing. 
We weren’t allowed to take any pictures with him, but I somehow managed to get two selfies with Chris.





I didn’t think it was possible, but my love for Chris Colfer increased by 3849729833427 times after tonight.

Meeting Chris Colfer. (My expierence)
I live in West Virginia and had never been to Washington DC before. I had a 5 hour trip. It was just me and my mom. We left my house at 10:00 am. We made it there okay without getting lost or anything. We got there and we found a place to park. It was around 3:30 pm when we got to the library. We waited in line and I got my ticket and me and my mom got pretty good seats. The girls behind me were super annoying and rude. They were probably chillarrens. Anyways I sat there too nervous to say hi to the 5 girls I knew who were going. Around 5:00 I noticed the girl in front of me looking at klaine/crisscolfer fanart. I was just like “Are you looking at fanart?” and she said yeah. We started fangirling over klaine and crisscolfer pictures and I asked her if she shipped Chris with Darren and she said yeah and I get hate for it. I thought yes a cc shipper. As the conversation continued she showed me what she was going to give Chris. There were two diet cokes. One said Will and the other one said Chris. I thought no no no not a fucking multishipper. She also showed me a notebook she made to give him and it said stuff about chill in there too. I was grossed out. She was cool and I could tell she could easily be talked out of her nasty ships. We continued talking for the next hour and took selfies together and exchanged numbers. Chris was running about 15 minutes late. Mine and Carmen’s (my new friend) hearts were pounding and we were shaking. We had no idea where he was going to come in at. We were freaking out. We saw Alla and his body guards and knew it was time. The librarian introduced him and he came through one of the side doors and literally didn’t even look real. He is so fucking perfect. He waved and pulled out his phone knelled on the ground and took 3 selfies with all of us. We were all dying. He did a 10 minute Q & A which was hilarious. After that they started announcing groups. I was still fangirling with Carmen and her younger sister. I was in group  3 and they called my group. I was so nervous and shaky. I had my mom record and I went up to him and I literally can’t even remember his face. 
Here’s the conversation I has with Chris. 
Chris : Hi! How are you?
Me : Good. (I’m an idiot. I forgot to ask him how he was)
Chris: What’s your name?
Me : Savanah.
Chris : Hi Savanah.
*Handed him bracelet and letter*

I really enjoyed reading   the posts about  fans meeting  chris Colfer,  with the exception the one from the hard core CrissColfer shipper.

I got to meet Chris Colfer for the second time today at his book signing. When I went up to get my book signed, I told him that I had met him two years ago. He didn’t remember me, but he was very nice and thanked me for coming and told me he hoped to see me at his next signing. I was so glad I got to see him again and I can’t wait to read TLOS3.

okay so ive been trying to make this post since last night but ive been having internet problems (what the fuck else is new right) so heres the rest of my tlos3 signing story
very kindly under a read more for all my other fandom followers who dont give half a shit
ok this is gonna be super long and rambly sorry okay so the signing started at seven, but our group was supposed to get there at 7:30 and there wouldnt have been a point in coming early bc the place is literally tiny and there would have been nothing to do but stand outside in the heat so we got there at like 7:25 and there was a line literally like all the way down the block it was so ridiculous BUT the tickets were numbered, so once we got our ticket and book we just had to find our place in line and we ended up being like the fifth people in the 7:30 group we were SUPER CLOSE to the front omfg we only had to wait like five-ten minutes. they had people waiting downstairs and then chris was upstairs and people would go up like five groups at a time and then come down for the next group to go up.
so we waited downstairs for a little bit and i saw will!! he came down the stairs with a couple people from the group before us and he was talking to some dude and laughing and then he went outside for something. i wasnt entirely positive it was him until i saw other peoples pics on tumblr later i was literally just standing there kinda thinking “hey is that will” but it was apparently. (i also didnt realize until i saw other ppls pictures that his shirt had DINOSAURS on it like wtf cutie) i didnt like take a picture of him or anything but i do think its kinda cool that i saw him.
OK ANYWAY NOW THE IMPORTANT PART our group went upstairs and there was basically this big room with a table where chris was sitting and then another table that you had to stay behind to take pictures and they were enforcing that pretty strictly (so you couldnt really get good shots that easily which sucked but w/e). anyway i totally FLIPPED when i stepped into the room and saw chris omfg like not on the outside but on the inside i was totally having a fuckign heart attack or panic attack or attack of some sort like i thought i was gonna faint or something i was FREaKIGN OUT but i totally managed to act calm somehow lol. i tried to get a few pics before i got in line to get my books signed but they were kinda yelling at us that we could take pictures after so i got in line and was just thinking oh my god oh my god and just calmly got the letter that i wrote chris out of my bag and handed over my books and my mind was just !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like i s2g thats all i was thinking
and then it was my turn and chris was SO SWEET AND FRIENDLY like not that i ever thought he wouldnt be but i just??? cant believe????? hes so sweet and nice ok so anyway the conversation went like: (note: imagine all of my parts being said in a kind of panicked, squeaky half-yell)
chris: hi!
me: HI!!!!
chris: whats your name?
me: leah!!
chris: leah? nice to meet you!
me: nice to meet YOU
chris: do you like the books?
me: yeah!!!
(i was super impressed that he didnt even look at the books while he was signing them he literally looked at me like the whole time and ok this is the point where he noticed my earrings and omfg i wish i had a picture of the face he made bc it was SO CUTE)
chris: oh, your earrings!
me: (moves hair and shows him) yeah, its pacman!
chris: (laughs) i thought i’d like those!
then he finished signing the books and i suddenly remembered
me: oh, i wrote you a letter
chris: is that for me? thank you so much!
he said ‘aww’ while he looked at the envelope and then he turned it over and looked at the back (where i drew a little doodle of brian and cooper and wrote a little note) and he said aww again, laughed and said ‘thank you so much’ again.
me: thank YOU so much.
chris: thank you sweetie, bye!
me: BYE!!! (takes books and leaves)
and then i went back to my mom at the picture table and literally the first thing i said was “HE LIKED MY EARRINGS” lmao bc it literally was just the cutest thing in the world and like literally just a few days before i told my mom i was gonna wear my pacman earrings to the signing bc i thought chris would get a kick out of them but i was kidding and i didnt point them out to him or anything he just NOTICED HES SO CUTE
okay anyway i got some more pictures from behind the table afterwards but they were really rushing everyone to go back downstairs so i didnt get many which sucked but i didnt even care right then tbh i was so HIGH ON LIFE my mom got some pics with her camera and a little bit of video of me with him but one of the ladies kept telling her to move even though she was behind the table so she didnt get anything spectacular or anything but eh who cares i still met him
well anyway we went back downstairs and im pretty sure i was literally crying by that point my mom kept asking if i was okay. we went outside then and i took a few pictures of the front of the bookstore and of chris’ name on their little upcoming events sign and i swear i was in such a daze like everything went so fast i felt like i was on drugs
then we went into the starbucks right next door and pretty much everyone in there was from the signing and had either already had their books signed or were stuck further back in the super long line it was like a chris colfer convention and thats when this story happened lol. and we just sat there at a table with our drinks and looked at the pictures we got and i took pics of the signatures in my books and thats when i was posting a little bit on tumblr and twitter about the signing (and also telling my good buddy faith ickbum about it on kik how u doin faith) and the line must have moved really fast after that bc by the time we left starbucks the line was wayyyyyy shorter
ok well thats pretty much the story. the whole long walk back to our car i was like hugging the third book to my chest and i kept laughing at everything bc i was just so happy and at one point my mom was like “why are you like this did chris give you drugs” and i laughed so hard i choked on my frappe
ok thats my signing story!!! i cant believe i have one of those i have a story about the time i MET A FAMOUS PERSON THAT I LOVE this will probably never happen 2 me again in my whole life ok thanks for reading this bc i know no one but me actually cares im so unstable now i need to go lay down bye
