Re: The Land of Stories 3 : Book Tour 2014
So… I finally met Chris Colfer today!!! ahhh
I signed up at the last minute (I wasn’t sure if I could make it) so I was in the last group, but he was SO NICE to each of us and smiling all the while!
A family brought a cute dog and he was greeting her with really cute voice. It was ADORABLE! x
Then my turn came.
I couldn’t believe (and still can’t believe) I was standing in front of Chris and looking at his face. Chris was all smiley and looking straight at me. Oh my god he made me so happy.
He asked me how I was. His smile and voice were so pretty. I told him I’m going to read his books to my baby cousin and he asked me how old she is. I said she’s not even 1 year old so she can’t read yet and he laughed and said something like oh no! right she can’t (i can’t remember! My brain stopped working.)
I asked if he can give me a high five and we highfived with both hands.
His hands were warm and soft, that’s all I can remember.
He talked to each of us longer than I thought he would, but now it’s all a blur… very happy, beautiful blur. Well, I probably should have shut up and just stared at him so I could remember better. lol
Anyway, Thank you so so much Chris♥♥
I love him even more and I’ll say it again, god his eyes and smile and voice!!

Pictures from meeting Chris earlier today! We weren’t allowed to stop to take pictures but I managed that background selfie and honestly who even cares. He was so nice and I am so happy and this was just a wonderful day.

a-little-out-of-it Video.
So I met Chris Colfer today and it was the BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE! Like if I needed a memory for a patronus, it would be this.He was so nice and awesome and I will treasure those 10 seconds forever.
I drew a picture of Alex in Ravenclaw robes to give to him and he was really nice and I think he liked it.
Also thanks to my friend for coming with me and taking the video (even if its kinda shaky)

@watchungbooks: Tiny Elephant Cafe, Watchung Booksellers, and @Chriscolfer @lbkids TLOS3. A very happy group.
Oh what a night! Chris Colfer was in the house and a full house it was. Fans and readers, parents and kids were all lovely, patient and incredibly excited to meet the wonderful Chris Colfer who was, what we fully expected, generous, warm and so, so sweet (and wicked funny!). We are so proud to have hosted you, Chris. Thank you all for a lovely event. Oh and a special shout out to Tiny Elephant Cafe who kept us all fed and happy through the hectic heat of it all! (x)

I met Chris Colfer a few hours ago and it was absolutely perfect. He is super nice (and super good looking) and honestly it was just great. I told him that it was so nice to meet him and that I thought he was incredibly talented. I also told him that I wanted to be a writer and the fact that he’s accomplished so much already was inspiring. He thanked me and he said “I really hope you become a writer someday” and then when I was leaving he wished me luck. He was honestly just so nice and seemed like such a genuinely good person. He signed my copy of Struck By Lightning and I will treasure that forever. Honestly it was just so great meeting him and I am super happy that that happened

Had such a lovely time at the signing today!
I’m not sure that the tiny staff of the very nice Korean fusion restaurant were too pleased with me when I led a group of 16+ fangirls in for dinner before the signing, but hey. It was tasty. (Don’t ask me how I gathered this many people together. I’m still not quite sure. They were all lovely.)
The book store was great—friendly staff, well organized, and they even baked cookies to celebrate the event. The line moved quickly but everyone got time to talk to Chris, no rush, no rudeness. It was a very positive experience.
Oh hey look there’s Chris Colfer smiling at me, nbd. I told him that this year I became a published author, and that if it wasn’t for him, it never would have happened the way that it did. I thanked him for being an inspiration, and he congratulated me and we shook hands. I can’t believe I actually formed sentences. He’s so incredible.
That’s me and Kari after, LOL. I was so red

Just got home from meeting Chris Colfer and omg is he gorgeous and amazing.
I got to the place late because my friend took too long but because I was #30 the moment they handed me the books they basically told me to just get in the line to get them signed so I got in and got out and met him relatively quickly.
Anyway, I told him that he was an inspiration and that I was a writer as well and he just asked me what I was interested poetry or fiction and so I told him fiction and that my book is fantasy and I mumbled something else about how much I love his books. I think I thanked him like four times…
But anyway, he was so pretty and just such an amazing person and I love that he is successful and that he tries to have some sort of interaction with each person and just his smile and his way of being and I can’t help but think back to when I met Darren at Roseland and how different and the same these interactions were. Both were amazing, though and I really can’t believe I met Chris Colfer.

My daughters and I attended the Chris Colfer book signing in Montclair, NJ. He was lovely. Generous with his time, considering the crowd, and so friendly. He’s stunning — more so even than on TV. He took the time to look over my eight-year-old’s drawing. I could hear him exclaiming how cute it (and she) was. He conversed a second or two with my very nervous 11-year old. And he took the time to hear me thank him and discuss my youngest’s dyslexia and how much she looks forward to his books.

I’m the one walking away from the table in the red dress with a huge smile on my face because of Chris Colfer. My lovely friend Dylan took this )))
My conversation:
Chris: Hi there!
Me: Hi! It’s great to see you again after last night! (since I was also at the signing yesterday)
Chris: It’s great to see you again too!!
Me: Okay, so I have this for you. (I handed him a pin I bought that said “If my cat doesn’t like you I don’t like you”)
Chris: Oh this is great, I don’t have this one! *laughs* (I PROCEED TO DIE)
and he put it with the stuff from fans that was behind him and I told him thank you and then that photo happened.

MEETING CHRIS COLFER. (7/08/14 & 7/09/14)
So I wanted to make a post talking about the last 2 amazing days I had with the love of my life, Chris Colfer.
I live outside of Philadelphia, so I left for NYC Monday night at 2:30 a.m, and got there before 5. I was in line at Good Morning America before 5:30, and was the first person in line alongside Jess. My friend Michele as well as a few others arrived, and there were five of us against the barricade with a few more people in the back. Chris came out of his car around 7:30 and just waved to us (looking fucking hot as hell), and I felt so upset. I knew this was my only chance to get a picture which him, and I already knew my chances were shitty to begin with because he never takes pictures. But he came back out again on his way out and signed for a few of us, as well as stopped to take this selfie with me. I honestly just got lucky.
I had been awake for 28 hours straight at the point when the signing that night finally started. When I met him the first time our conversation went like this:
"Hi, Chris!"
"Hello thanks for coming out!"
"I just wanted to thank you earlier for taking a picture with me outside of Good Morning America, it was very sweet of you and made my entire day"
"No Problem!"
"Also I just wanted to say I adore this book series and you’re a fantastic writer thank you I love you so much"
aND I WENT FOR THE HANDSHAKE. YAAAS.
BUTTTTT then the next day, dead and Chris-hungover, I went to the signing at Jersey. When I got my turn, I literally walked up to him and he said
"HI AGAIN"
And I was like fuck.
"Do you remember me?"
"Yes! You were there last night and we took a selfie"
So I’m literally dead and gone. These have been the best two days of my life. I am so grateful and forever in love with one Christopher Colfer.
