Re: Bistro on the corner
^ Merry Xmas Delight and the rest of the gangs! I am too lazy to get fancy graphics so allow me to express my most animated holiday greetings in a short sentence. I have to get back out there now as I still have tons of shopping to do before all stores close.
Merry Xmas!

You are a whole 2 weeks ahead of us when it comes to Christmas, but either way, to all Catholics and Christians who celebrate it on the 25th of Decembar :

Merry Xmas!
Your short sentence of a Chistmas greeting is appreciated very much-ly. I just so happen to have my love of Calvin and Hobbes renewed after watching 'Dear Mr. Watterson', and was determined to get some pictures from the comic to go with my Christmas greeting, is all.
I hope you survived the pre-Christmas shopping frenzy, and enjoyed the festivities on the big day.
And because I'm influenced by the modern day culture of photographing food and posting them online, here is my Christmas meal (not prepared by me, of course):

Re: Bistro on the corner
Alas, there's no New Year's Eve feast for me this year. All I had for dinner was instant noodles.
I hope everyone else here managed to treat themselves to better food to celebrate the occasion.
I'm early with my greeting again, so... Happy 2015, everyone!

How terrible, Romina.
I hope you'll find her soon. Maybe someone brought her to an animal shelter.

Watching the sound of music and saw the date it was released, can't believe it over 43 years old, I bet chris was so cute as Kurt in it! Pity there is no video of the performance

Following what happened in Charlie Hebdo Wednesday, I just want to quote Voltaire "I disagree with what you say, but I'll fight to death for you to have the right to say it". Freedom of expression is a right that should never be taken from us, and never cause people to die.

The sombre happenings in real life can really give one perspective on things. With the recent death of two brave hostages in the Sydney siege, the massacre of students and teachers in Pakistan, and the execution style shootings carried out in France against cartoonists and policemen... It makes me wonder just how upset I should be over bad television (such as Glee).

Re: Bistro on the corner
^ totally agree. bad television is just bad television. aside from fox losing some money down the road nobody gets hurt, and a whole lot of cast/crew continue their employment contract. one doesn't need to watch it if he/she doesn't like it (i am one of them). there are plenty of good shows available.
the reality is what's really scary, although reality has always been brutal since the dawn of predatory behaviors among life forms.

^Yes, the real world can be very scary, so that's why we have television (and stupid television shows like Glee we like to rant about) to escape from all that for a moment.

Re: Bistro on the corner
^ agree w u too, except for me there are better tv shows for me to actually enjoy. i'd rather numb myself by watching a good show than ranting about a bad one. the fact that i didn't even watch the first 2 episodes (except the kurt edits) disqualified me from qualified ranting.

Hopefully all of us in the Northeast part of the US are safe and warm tonight. We're facing a really terrible blizzard and they're shutting down all mass transit tonight. I left work a little early and am home with a big cup of tea and a purring cat next to me. Am expecting not to be at work for at least tomorrow - have to wait for the worst of this to blow over so I can start digging out.

Re: Bistro on the corner
I'm so out of the loop. I just got home few hours ago from the beach, really had fun there and found out my friend used to watch Glee and liked Kurt. She told me she likes his unique voice and sassy personality.
As for those who live in northeast of US, send my best wishes. Please stay safe, be careful guys.

Re: Bistro on the corner
I'm in Boston, and my office closed down early today, and we're closed all day tomorrow. So I'm hunkering down, watching some Harry Potter movies, and making a big pot of soup tomorrow.
