With TLoS2 being back on the best sellers list (meaning people are probably buying and reading that book to catch up on the series before TLoS3 is released) there's good hope that 'A Grimm Warning' will sell very well too.

Lol I've just been on amazon U.K. to look for some stationary items and they presented me with chris Colfers new book and surprise surprise it's cheaper now then they originally were selling it for and they now say it can be delivered on the day of release! Interesting don't you think? I was wondering if all the cancelled pre orders have made them step back and think again!

I think that £50.00 is an error on their site

^When you use the search bar at tthe amazon site and search for "Chris Colfer" you indeed get the £15.98 price, but when you search for "a Grimm Warning" you get this:

When I do the same "a Grimm Warning" search on amazon.com (USA) I also get a price of $50.08 for the audiobook.

So I guess it's possible that it's an error on their site they haven't fixed yet, but people who will search for the audiobook directly still get that 50+ price, and if it's indeed only an error it doesnt correct itself by e.g. showing a lower price when you put the audio-cd version in your shopping basket to buy it: I've tried.

I have a couple of friends who are partners in a book shop.

Because of the demand for the book they had to get it into the store.

One of my friends is a JW didn't want any more of these books in the store because of the magic aspect.

But the demand was so great with orders they just had to get it.

So, this means I get a copy of this book this week instead of waiting for two weeks for the one I pre-ordered.

Chris Colfer is planning many return trips to the Land of Stories.

Publisher Little, Brown and Company said Monday the actor best known for "Glee" has a multi-book deal. Colfer has two more "Land of Stories" installments planned, the fourth and fifth of his best-selling middle grade series, coming in July 2015 and July 2016. Both are currently untitled.

He also has agreed to write two picture books based on the "Land of Stories" characters and two companion volumes to the series that will be included in a holiday box set scheduled for next year.

The 24-year-old Colfer also is working on a novel for teens, a coming-of-age story about a young actor and his fans on "a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country road trip."

a companion volume =  a guidebook or handbook

So probably small books with maybe an extra map and a sort of ABC/index of the Land of Stories, background stories, family trees, and/or extra illustrations.
Or maybe one will be a fairytale book that tells the original fairytales Chris based the characters on, hopefully told/re-written by Chris himself.

Whatever they will be: I’m EXCITED!!!!!!

No way does he sleep like the rest of us plebs. Or then he does have a vast imaginative mind that can just spontaneously create interesting storylines, with effortless flow.

I'm so happy the publisher is investing in him on a long run. Years to come! I would not be suprised if more creative minds will be brought to this franchise, which it definately is aftervthid announcement.

If I interpret this correctly 'The Land of Stories' saga will be completed after book 5.

This really is the best kind of confirmation that Chris now not only has real credibility as a writer, but real marketability as well. He's not getting published because he's on Glee (as if the show has any ability to boost someone's career at this point). That might have been the case with the first book in TLOS (where he openly admitted that his fame from Glee got his foot in the door), but these multi-book deals are a result of strong sales for every book he's published. To be known as much for his books as he is for his role on Glee is a real statement to just how much he's been able to accomplish in such a brief amount of time.
