fantastica wrote:^ casserole - 2 "s"s (sounds like sssssssssssnake) is a pot or pan or baking dish for throwing everything in. the food is HOT fresh out of the oven. I meant literally. the word has nothing to do w/ people. you are thinking too much girl.
I'm thinking too much perv things lol
So this casserole (with double s) is made by the leftovers??? That's disgusting but at the same time useful.
Re: Bistro on the corner
That someone can be hot and sexy if you don't forget about the capital letter at the beginning of the word , otherwise it's not necessary, it's mostly someone who can't sing. Each year, when the french version of American Idol occurred, the producers also organize the selection of the best casserolebrisallie wrote:Umm caserole?? It is truth that's a word related to someone who's hot and sexy? Once I read it on a french magazine called Jalouse lol

Yes it's almost spring. It's been unseasonably warm here. It was 71 degrees today
Re: Bistro on the corner
I also have pollen issues but I don't go out doors as much and I keep my windows shut all day. I think this year its' a lot worst because the winter is so mild (what - winter? we dont have this year actually) all trees are blooming early. Karen's is actually further north than I am.
I have allergy meds on hand but they don't do much. the best thing is to avoid the outdoors as much as you can.
if you think you maybe catchign a cold - cold symptons are a bit different - you may experience a sore throat. your nasil mucous would not be watery but instead thick and yellowish. you may also have a headache or overall discomfort in your body. if you have a cold, taking raw garlic is your best bet. lots of it! after all, if it works against the vampires it will sure work against cold germs.

and make sure you shoot a microscopic photo as well - I need to verify if there's any singing and dancing germs.

Are you sure is winter? Because was a good day, last year the temperatures were under 71 degrees. Summer is being horrible, last week the average was 89 degrees ( 32° celsius)
Do you know the Oriental Plane? Is a tree from asia I think and it's said that people tend to be allergic to this tree, they're planted in all the city.

never heard of the tree, but doesn't sound like a native three to where you are, so if lots of people are allergic I won't be surprised.brisallie wrote:Jellyrolls wrote:Yes it's almost spring. It's been unseasonably warm here. It was 71 degrees today

p.s. I think more and more people are allergic to things. when I was a kid I never heard of the word "allergies", even though I had the allergic nasil symptons the doctors always fed me antibioltics

This time of year, it should be in the 40s around here, so it's very warm. We had a mild and snowfree winter. It's been wonderful

Re: Bistro on the corner
yes wonderful except to your nose.
another useful tip from aunt Kimmy: rinse your sinus w/ pure non-chlorinated water w/ salt added. you can buy a simple plastic device from any drug store. it's the only thing to keep me alive during a bad allergy season. also prevents sinus infection.

Re: Bistro on the corner
but chocolate - i mean cocoa beans are actually from south america. but then they put so much sugar and chemicals in it to process it. It's not just the chemical additives in the foods, but the overall wide exposure to all kinds of toxins in our environemnt seem to make our immune system weaker than our ancestors'.brisallie wrote:

Re: Bistro on the corner
Hi everyone! I'm new here and wasn't sure where I should post so I thought I'd start here.
Has anyone ever watched Smosh? It's these two guys and they make really funny videos. My step-sister showed them to me about a month ago and I've loved them ever since.
One of my favorites and the very first one I watched:

I've never seen them before. That was a bit funny, but a bit annoying too. LOL
Re: Bistro on the corner
Just watched the first 2 episodes of Downton Abbey (as some of you know already, Chris watches this series during his spare time), and all I could think of is 'Wow. So this is what a truly well-written show looks like.' No scene is superfluous. No dialogue is wasted. All the characters feel real, with well-defined personalities. Pretty much all the actors are impressive and fully embody their characters. Some parts of it can even be funny, with the upper class ladies getting scandalized by the concepts of 'work' and 'weekends'.
Quality TV shows like this make me ask the question-- 'Why do I spend time watching Glee?'
But then the answer is obvious; seeing that I'm hanging around in this forum.
Sigh... I really wish that some competent writer can come in and restructure the whole Glee series so that it recaptures some of its old magic and appeal.

@Fantastica , I understand you if you're not interesting in sports because I'm not either, my exceptions are figure skating competitions - actually for me it was easier to learn roller skating that riding a bycicle- and both aerobic and artistic gymnastic :D
PS: I also thought Smosh was Smash lol
