Listen I'm biased because I always thought he's a bit of an attention whore , and of course I could be totally off, but it would explain (to me) in part how the whole clusterfuck of Trevor live might have been in part from having a director that wasn't working on all pistons. I"m not stupid, I know some of the best work done by artists was done under the influence, but from the get go I felt the whole Trevor live thing seemed like sloppy train wreck.

No way of knowing if my speculation has any foundation, but fuck, check in after a major pressure ridden event like Trevor Live is interesting, to say the least.

And of course I hope he gets better.

^I think there are still many other factors at play and some severe overall problems with Trevor (i.e. celebrating allies instead of their own), but his alcoholism is most certainly one very good explanation why this year was a PR nightmare of epic proportions.

But I hope he gets better. Too many good people died because of addictions.
